I know some people on here don't really care for him, but I'm interested to see what people have to say about him.

I like Quinn. I don't know why some people on here don't like him. He and Chris have nice chemistry.

I like him. He clearly has fun and enjoys himself, which in turn makes me enjoy it more. When he busts out laughing uncontrollably about something, I always smile. Goofy guy. Clark was better, but I like Quinn.

    He's does a good job.

He calls the game like it should and isn't an obnoxious homer like many announcers.

He knows basketball, but I think he's sometimes unfairly biased against some players. I don't think he gave Tyler a chance early, but that was just my take.

I really enjoy listening to Quinn. No he isn't as good as Clark but who is? I think Quinn does a nice job though.

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

I thank he does a nice job. I think he calls the games pretty fair. He isn't overly biased to the Pacers for just the sake of doing it. Great Job Mr. Buckner.

Most others on other local FSI games are hard to listen too cause they always back their team no matter how wrong they are. Kinda like some people on here. Very annoying.

I like him as an announcer. Mostly unbiased, and he makes watching Pacers basketball fun. I would like give props to the New Jersey announcers too.

There is something about the polls for Brooke, Quinn, and eventally Chris that I don't like. I find them petty and childish. It is one thing to play arm-chair quarterback and rank players, but it is another thing to openly criticize these fine people. It's a free country, and so I will continue to do my best to ignore these threads.

He knows basketball very well, and he is unbiased in terms of most announcers.

That being said, I really dislike his arrogance.

We've already had our fair share of Quinn Bucknerisms this year (e.g., This is a man's game; flamingo=swan), but he knows the game and comes across as a fairly regular and humble guy, so I'm fine with him.

I think he reminds all of us that although what he does isn't exactly rocket science, it does take a special talent to always be able to say what you mean when the pressure is on.

I have basic standards for local announcers:

    1. Don't be a dick.

    2. Love basketball.

Our announcing team is above average and although Quinn can embarrass himself at times with his overly jolly and not always articulate cadence, he's still a solid commentator.

I don't think I've eve heard him be arrogant. He isn't bad or anything, but he can get kind of carried away when he starts laughing or whatever. It's kinda funny though. He compliments other team's players pretty well, so he's a pretty good announcer overall I guess.

There are many people in the world who are full of themselves to the point of arrogance. Quinn Buckner is not one of them.

"But, first, let us now praise famous moments, because something happened Tuesday night in Indianapolis that you can watch a lifetime’s worth of professional basketball and never see again. There was a brief, and very decisive, and altogether unprecedented, outburst of genuine officiating, and it was directed at the best player in the world, and that, my dear young person, simply is not done."

I like his Indiana basketball credentials. I do not like his fumbling, mumbling, giggling half-comments that make him sound less intelligent and erudite than I think he is.

Somehow Slick does this sort of stuff and yet it comes off like an old grandpa coach, but for me, when Quinn does it, it sounds like boom-goes-the-dynamite.

I am just so partial to Clark Kellogg and Jerry Baker of the early 90s that I don't think I will ever be happy with the announcing team unless it's Clark and Bake.
