I wanted this as well I was really hoping to trade him a few years ago. Danny is a good player but he wasn't/ isn't good enough to build around. We should of traded him and not traded for Murpleavy and trade JO long before we did and started over. I would of traded him the year after the MIP season.(if the value was right)

I want to know how NBA scouts functioned for 50 years without Twitter. No wonder Tractor Traylor got traded for Dirk Nowitzki.
What exactly do you see as his problems when it comes to dribbling? Is it his style of dribbling or how he dribbles that concerns you?
I mean I understand what your saying & you are not the first person to say this but I guess specifically what are the problems?
I'm far more concerned with his shot selection myself but let me see if you can convince me to change my mind.
I see part of the dribbling issue as part of the shot selection issue... If he wouldn't decide he needed to somehow all of a sudden force something towards the basket he'd either be passing or not dribbling into the defense to force a shot in the first place.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.
"A player who makes a team great is more valuable than a great player. Losing yourself in the group, for the good of the group, thatís teamwork."
His shot selection is probably my biggest gripe with him also. Except I would just expand on that and call it a lack of basketball IQ. He makes a lot of bone headed plays on both ends of the floor.
I don't agree with the notion that he has no trade value though. Danny is a top notch shooter. And that is a very valuable thing to have. When he is dialed in he is very dangerous, with tremendous range. He can pop off for 30 regularly.

OK, so let's set Eric Gordon aside for a second. If we were to trade Danny, what could we reasonably expect in return?
BLUE COLLAR GOLD SWAGGER
Gordon's chronic injury problems at a young age are a major red flag.
He is a top 10 player when healthy but the Pacers should neither trade for or sign him as a FA until he proves durable.
I'd rather keep Danny then to ship him out for Martin. If you think Granger is one-dimensional then you have got something coming when we bring in Martin.
