I don't think most fans truly realize what Dunleavy and McRoberts brought off the bench as Pacers. Any time you lose that sort of understanding of the game by players who don't mind facilitating and moving without the basketball, it's going to hurt your team.
I totally agree with you, I never wanted Mike back and I didn't mind losing Josh. However I always thought that the replacements would be an upgrade and so far that hasn't happen. I'm still hopeful that Larry isn't done and he will get a more talented deeper roster. Guess he may have to cut out the bottom to then replace the top to move them down to the bottom...Wishful thinking here anyways!

I think this is a microcosm of this over-reaction about the Miami game. Dunleavy was horrible in the playoffs last year. McBob was ineffective. Yet we played well.

    IOW, I don't buy it.

Seriously, people need to get it through their heads that this team is not the team you will be watching in a few months...as long as Vogel has some time to work with them. Give it some time.

^ I'm looking at a much bigger sample size than a 5 game series in which nearly every Pacer showed their flaws vs the top defensive team in the East.

The Pacers are moving the ball a little better. They are having Paul and Roy play catch some. Good things will happen as these guys grow into their roles.
