    Default Hibbert's weak layups

Anybody else completely exasperated by Roy's weak and pitiful put-ins around the basket that routinely get swatted away by significantly shorter players?

My question is: what should be done?

Nothing? Sit his @ss on the bench whenever he does it? Group mockery during film sessions?

I seriously am surprised that I keep seeing it. It seems like something that the coaching staff would have corrected a long time ago.

    What gives?

“People talk about how quiet he [McKey] is, but he’s really been helpful. He gives a lot of insight to players in how to guard certain teams and what their weaknesses are. The whole team listens to him, and it makes my job a lot easier. Having players like him is what pro basketball is all about for me.” —Larry Brown

his "layup" attempt against the nets that he threw diagonally across the backboard was shameful. I wish he had tyler's attitude. What a player that would be. He wants so badly to finesse every shot it drives me nuts. The czar even laid into him saying you have to throw that down with authority

hibbert needs to try throw it down every time he gets an offensive reoubnd/pass that close to the hoop. shelden williams is no dikembe, yet he was swatting shots like no other because of our entire team's unwillingness to finish hard.

Have someone flick him in the nuts at the next timeout every time he doesn't take it hard to the hoop. I'm serious.

I'm dumbfounded by it. They should let Tyler hit him after the game for every such attempt.

He also drops the ball below his hips after catching it sometimes. That ball should.never go below his head.

He also likes to attempt tip ins off of someone else's missed shot.

All three things drive me crazy but are fixable. I wish someone would help him.

I agree with being frustrated when I see Roy do it, but I have to say I think I've seen him throw down a just-over-the-rim dunk more times already this year than in his whole career.

That isn't saying much, but still...
