    Default Nets/Pacers postgame thread

This is what I wanted to see, an inferior team getting destroyed by the Pacers, it took 3 quarters but they finally did it, great game for PG 21 points 3reb 2 ast 1block and 1stl, for those that hate Lou, he got 7 points 6reb 2ast and 1block, yep we got those numbers from the last guy off the bench

We finally had a good shooting percentage..... go Pacers

To be fair, the Nets are probably the worst team in the NBA. To also be fair, we finally took care of business in a big way and our starters were able to get some good rest.

Great game and great way to boost our confidence to pass the ball and play as a unit offensively. Again, too much talent offensively to not be effective.

The games against Miami and Boston should be a good ones.

Miami lost to Atlanta who I think will be neck and neck with us all season long. Even early on, both teams are 4-1.

Seeing how the Pistons beat the Magic, I don't feel so bad about the loss the other night. Now, if they combine the offense tonight with the defense from the first three games, then the Pacers will be a hard team to beat.

Got the chance to shake some rust off and rack up some wins against weak sisters. Now lets see how do on the road against some quality opposition.

Danny seems to be continuing his career trend of declining fg%. Couldn't watch the entire game, but that 4-14 really stood out.

26 asts says the Pacers were passing and sharing the ball. This was missing in the 2nd Detroit game.

Wish Miami had beaten Atlanta tonight. They're gonna be pissed on Wednesday. We're going to have to play very well to win.

Yes it is depressing. On the other hand, he did have a decent all around game with some boards, assists, and D. But, it would be nice if the guy shoot aroun mid 40s in FG%.

Danny has always been big when he gets matched up against Lebron. It will be interesting to see if he has more of a pulse offensively against Miami on Wednesday.

Meanwhile his 3pt % has stayed consistently solid throughout his career. That, and watching him over the last 7 years tells me he is a spot up shooter and needs to remain such. He's just not effective at all when trying to create for himself. Pacers would greatly benefit if he would alter his style of play.

I don't think he is altering his game he is who he is and that's it.

No doubt. That would also include no leading the break/open court ball handling too. Find the PG and fill the lane/trail for a 3. His handles/decision making in the open court are a recipe for disaster. In the half court, I suppose somebody has to play the initiate own offense role given our personnel.

Foolish comment considering every great player alters their game in order to improve as a player, Jordan, Bird, Nash, Reggie, Shaq, Kobe, included.

All the whining about Amundson 'sucking' and being 'horrible' in the game thread .... he only shot 3-6 for 7 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and a block in 14 minutes.

If only everyone on the team sucked that badly. We'd never lose.

Toronto also played the Mavs well and just beat the Knicks tonight. Cavs have looked better too. our first 5 games were definitely light but not as terribly easy as people thought

Yeah I didn't really get that. I love Lou. I love players like that. He's a big man who is here mainly for depth and to give us energy. That's exactly what he does, and he does it pretty damn well. I don't see why you would complain about that.
