Default Foster to Return / Hansbrough Injured

    http://m.indystar.com/sports/article...1040314&f=1243

    Injury update

PF Tyler Hansbrough did not practice Tuesday after injuring his right hand against the Nets on Monday. His status for tonight is uncertain. . . . C Jeff Foster practiced Tuesday and is expected to play tonight.

I hope Tyler plays. I think he would do well tonight against the Heat. Foster will help with rebounding and defense against Bosh. I'm hoping for a win.

I think Tyler plays. Holding him out of practice on a schedule like this doesn't bother me too much.

Damn, that's a serious bench advantage gone if Tyler is hurt tonight.

    Maybe not Joe

If Ty cant play then I believe those minutes go to Amundson, who I would like to see get more minutes. While Ty is a better scorer, I feel Lou is better at defense and rebounding, so it will be intersting to see the dynaics if it plays out like that

Foster and Amundsen is going to be a brutal offensive pairing if the rotations remain the same as they have been in recent games.

As far as Foster returning, IT'S ABOUT TIME!

IIRC, I saw JP suited for the Nets game. I was hoping he'd get in the game. If Hans is out or doesn't play much, maybe JP can get some PT tonight. I'd like to see what he can do.

Oh well, at least we are not going to have that "ball stopper" playing today.......

Wow, when I saw JP, my first thought was who the heck is that. Pendergraph is like the forgotten man. It would be nice if he was healthy and we could see what he can bring to this team.

I know this is going to be a fast and hard season for the players. I am just wating for the big injury to burst our bubble.

I'd say it's more likely to have a bunch of little nagging injuries that never have the time to heal like they could in a normal season.

Figured Foster would be back for the first real game of the season. Hopefully his back holds out this year. We seriously need him.

Hopefully it will be brutal to BOTH offenses.

I'm curious to see him, too.

I watched him on Synergy last night, and I think he replaces what Josh left behind in terms of being an athletic dunker/finisher around the hoop. Hell, he honestly makes himself look (maybe because he actually is) BIGGER when he flushes it than Josh did/does.

Pendergraph seems tall, long, medium-sized (in terms if not being a string bean or a hulk), and athletic. Dude can throw it down pretty good.

Other than that, he's not like Josh; I don't see the ball handling or passing of McRoberts. But what I do see is a hint of a jump shot and a hint of a back to the basket game. Should be fun to see what he can do.

My sense is if we hadn't gotten West, he would have probably become a serviceable backup to Tyler for 18-20 min a game, where his athleticism when combined with a productive stat night would have some thinking maybe he should be starting (IF IF IF he was ever somewhat consistent at putting up some quality numbers, that is). He doesn't appear to be a scrub to me.

These are the types of games Tyler enjoys. I expect him to really bring it tonight and have a solid game against Bosh's defense.

Tyler Hansbrough will be in the lineup tonight vs Miami. Jeff Foster is available but likely won't play until Friday vs Boston

I'd rather have Foster play versus Miami than play against Boston. Interior defense is a lot more important in this game.

I wanted to see Foster hammer LeFraud to the floor at least once.
