As ugly as it was on TV, it was uglier in person.

That said, everyone in the Palace was super nice to us. It's a nice to place to catch a game. We also met some Canadian Pacers fans and celebrated the New Year with them.

What do you expect when there are more Pacers fans than Pistons fans in the Palace?

How much of that 15 mil would Frensko cost?

If Hibbert gets injured, which I don't want, the Pacers are out of the playoffs and will get a lottery pick. Then what, another 3 year plan?

When one thinks about it, Granger gets injured his replacements are PG and Dahntay. Maybe like UB says the Pacers bench just isn't that deep.
He's right. It's not deep at all. We've got 7 serious contributors - Hill and Hansbrough off the bench. Everyone else is a non factor. Foster might be able to add something, but doesn't look like we'll be able to count on him regularly.

They will be ok, first back to back this year after the long layoff. I think it will take some time to get used to doing the back to backs and maybe will help with utilizing the player rotations better so we don't gas out our guys on that 2nd night.

Our rotation beyond our starters sucks and of our starters PG still has a lot to learn, nd West is coming back from a major surgery, which normally takes 2 years to fully recover of, if ever.

We have one of the best 7.2 centers in the league, or he has it in him to get there, but we are not playing inside out.

we are running around like headless chickens playing 1 on 1, it wont work.
We do not run inside out because Roy is not good enough yet to support it. If we did, we would run it through that player that you do not seem to realize has fully recovered (except for conditioning). West is a player capable of supporting an inside out game.

Fullly recovered is not the same as fully recovered.

all I know is in the first quarter jerebko had like 4 uncontested lay ups.not sure who to blame but I don't think we had a good quarter except maybe the fourth.

Jerebko was guarded by West, and by Hansborough, he scored at leat 3 or 4 3pt shots where Tyer decided to cheat of him, he just outran West.

Ball movement and PLAYER movement without the ball.
I agree with this, but another thing I've also seen repeatedly is that when there is good movement and an open player cutting to the basket, the Pacers need to be a lot better in delivering the ball. Collison and Granger, in particular, need to be more alert on the pick and roll. West or Hansborough will set the pick and then be open in rolling to the basket, while Collison or Granger are dribbling and looking in the opposite direction. It's harder to get player movement when the guys doing the moving aren't rewarded when they get open.

I think a 1mil offer to Fesenko would be worthwhile.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!
