Redd signed with the Suns.
Redd signed with the Suns.
I'm OK with that.
Yeah, the guy couldn't defend before the knee injuries so he should fit in just perfect there.
I'd like to see a pure shooter on this roster, but I don't think Redd was that guy. Wish him well, I always have liked him.
BLUE COLLAR GOLD SWAGGER
I was worried that he would give up a lot more points than he'd put on the board. I'm just not a big fan even though I do respect his shooting skills.
I'd rather have someone who can play on both sides of the court even if he's not a lights out shooter. Do we really want to put someone on the floor that cannot defend a wing position? Think about some of the scorers on opposing teams that play at that spot.
We'll see how he does there. Then we can judge if it was a missed oppt or not.
Me, I don't think we are missing much.
3 scenarios for the draft, starting with my favorite first:
1. Pacers trade up for Justice Winslow
2. Take WCS or Stanley Johnson (this is the theory of a player falling); Make trades (Hibbert/West/others) for additional picks - George Lucas and Rakeem Christmas are players I'd love to have with a late first/early 2nd round
3. Trey Lyles
I'm sure my opinion will change many times before the draft though.
The Suns are now offering AARP benefits and Hover-a-round mobile chairs.
Good spot for him. The Suns' medical staff/athletic trainers have done wonders in resuscitating Grant Hill's career and in keeping Steve Nash ticking. If anyone can bring Redd back, it would be them I suppose.
Fine with me!

Good call by him. If any training staff can fix his knee, it is theirs.
This is the joke going around twitter right now.Steve Nash, Grant Hill, and Michael Redd....looks the Suns are gearing up to win the 2005 NBA Championship.
I wish him well.
I don't know how much he'll bring, but the Suns don't have much to lose.
I would have liked him if he could shoot and play enough D to net the Pacers points, but I don't think he can. I think we'll look back and realize it was a good choice to pass.
