    Default Biggest NBA ball hog?

Nick Young is my pick. Dahntay has nothing on the black hole that is Nick Young. No wonder nobody wanted him

Nick Young was the first name that came to my mind when I read the thread title. He's the king of one-dimensionality.

It was either sarcasm, or he's confusing ball hog with ball hawk.

Seriously when you're Scalabrine you have to shoot it, you never know when you may touch the ball again.

Dahntey Jones might be the biggest ball hog. IMO I have a hard time calling a guy that get results or his team needs him to be a ball hog, like Kobe. Surprised to see people would have Tyler Hansbrough on the list. I thought he pass well tonight and Tyler gets results as well so i guess thats why I have a hard time calling him a ball hog.

I have said this before but I think the Pacers will have a hard time keeping Tyler out of the starting lineup.

The answer is Russell Westbrook, but I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Kobe yet.

Jamal Crawford has got to be close to the top, if not at the top. It is tough to call PGs ball hogs like Deron and CP3 since they distribute the ball so well, but they certainly have the ball all the time.

I guess if we determine that ball hog is someone that doesn't look to pass, I would say Crawford. Stephen Jackson would have to be up there. Tyreke Evans would probably be up there.

I would definitely NOT put Kobe on the list. If you are going to call Kobe a ball hog, then Lebron is ten times the ball hog. As I sit here and remember all of the bad fourth quarter possessions he has caused in his career from dribbling around with no purpose and jacking up a 45 footer from three that bricks off the third balcony.

I would definitely put Melo on the list.

I think this list would be primarily backup combo guards who need the ball in their hands to score but are not good passers in an offense.

“People talk about how quiet he [McKey] is, but he’s really been helpful. He gives a lot of insight to players in how to guard certain teams and what their weaknesses are. The whole team listens to him, and it makes my job a lot easier. Having players like him is what pro basketball is all about for me.” —Larry Brown
