Shea is damn hot, but Jarin is still my favorite. I don't even know if she's a Pacemate anymore.

good luck getting PT on those other teams Josh.

Honestly I like the kid, looks like a hard worker, entertaining player. But after 3 years in the league....

    A. he can't shoot
    B. He can't defend the post
    C. Average Rebounder at best
    D. Has no post moves to speak of
    C. Has no face up and drive game despite his passing and Dribbling being his best assets.
Nobody has ever said the kid is some kind of all star in the making, but this a fairly unfair assessment in my view. There have been plenty of times when josh has made a very positive impact on the floor despite not being a great scorer or a "dale Davis" on the defensive end.

Most of the reason he has become such a lighting rod is the constant struggle between people who appreciate his "role player" contributions and those who constantly try to dismiss him as worthless. Despite ample evidence to the contrary.

Love the posters who never provide analysis as to why they disagree with a post... Other than scoring, what area of Hansbrough's game is superior to McRoberts?

    Take that!

limited sample size but glad he is getting some burn at the wing. He needs to learn how to play without the ball but so does half of our team lol.

I really hope that kid matures, he could be a monster on the court. Seems like he is moving in the right direction. Heck, his twitter is mild compared to the others I read.

I obviously love McRoberts as much as the next guy, but he's high energy and that is just about it. He is not nearly efficient enough a scorer to start really anywhere. He is very nice to have as a seventh-ninth man, but his defense leaves a lot to be desired. Psycho T is a lot better offensively, plain and simple. Tyler isn't very good on defense either, but he did basically shut down Boozer in the playoffs. I really am just not okay with saying McBob is better than Tyler.

I'm beyond furious with our moves. For us to let McRoberts walk is completely ludicrous. We're passing on a hometown kid who's chemistry with the team is a LOT better than any other player we're going to get for the same price. He knows the system, he has more than 39 games under his belt (unlike Jeff Pendergraph and his ACL), and is a complete spark plug. Somebody remind the front office that Pritchard took Oden over Durant and then see how many decisions they let him make after that.

LOL, I like your post and it makes a lot of sense. Chemistry is very important and with a short training camp and compact season, it is more important than ever.

Wouldn't that be something if Josh ends up getting a ring in LA because the Pacers didn't want him.

In fairness, who is really making the Tyler josh argument anymore?

Haven't we all learned to ignore croz at this point?

Personally I think it's a draw and always have. Tyler is over-rated by many on this board. He just looks plain awkward out there at times. Almost like he's the Tim Tebow of the NBA. I'll start a new term. You just got PSYCHO'D!

McRoberts is a very entertaining player to watch. Hansbrough is a very good all around player in the works.

Are you suggesting "Psycho T" is an efficient scorer?

I'll take McBob over Tyler as an overall player. Of course I'm still pissed it has to even be discussed - we should have Jrue Holiday and McBoB. Instead we have Collison and Tyler. I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out.

Look. Its not that you don't occasionally make a good point. But most of your posts seem to serve no purpose other than to stir people up.

Like what? Saying my opinion that McRoberts is better than Tyler overall and yet Tyler seems to be in our future plans while McRoberts does not. And then people coming on here and agreeing with my opinion. Just because you disagree with an opinion doesn't make it wrong or mean that everybody shares similar beliefs. Most of these posts you seem to state have no purpose, are met with "Thanks" by other members of the message board.

Without any passers and bigs that are mobile enough provide defensive protection in the high post area, I am really not sure how we will compensate without him.

If nothing else, at least offer Josh a 1 year deal for $5 million since the money has to be spent and the roster is still quite short. He might bite just for the chance to contribute for an entire season for a team who can use his services even more than they did, especially since the team now has coaches who are capable of using players strengths and altering team strategy to maximize production.

I think Josh would look good in a Lakers uni.

Would be nice to find a way to do a sign and trade + Rush for Mayo or something.
Offer a MAX Contract to Gasol...force the Grizzlies to pay as much as they can for him and then turn around and offer McBob a S&T involving BRush for Mayo in an effort to help them clear SalaryCap space while getting McBob.

Honestly,I can see this happening...if anything, I wouldn't be surprise if this was "Plan W".....Bird hatched this plan the second that original McBob for Mayo deal fell through last season.

Stating your opinion is not the same as purposefully trying to "stir people up". I personally enjoy reading contrasting opinions, as this forum would be very boring if everyone agreed with each other 100% of the time.

The thread title is about Memphis and the Lakers (which no one is discussing hardly), not about Josh vs. Tyler.

Yes. The thread title is what is wrong, regardless of the intent of the OP.

McRoberts really has no option if the Lakers are interested. Go west, young man, and become fabulously wealthy! Highlight McDunkerson, its Showtime!
