McRoberts is younger and a better overall player than Hansbrough. Not sure why we aren't looking to resign him.

Love the posters who never provide analysis as to why they disagree with a post... Other than scoring, what area of Hansbrough's game is superior to McRoberts?

I wouldn't be upset if we get McRoberts back, Tyler and him did a descent job last year trading time at PF. While you are right that McBob is younger he is not as good as Tyler IMO. With the short training camp we might be better off sticking with the guys that we had last year at this point if we cant get a significant upgrade.

Do we seriously need to keep arguing about McRoberts in thread after thread after ****ing thread? Enough already! Clearly there are multiple camps when it comes to strong opinions on Josh. Let's all try to recognize that and stop trying to beat the other side into submission: IT'S NOT HAPPENING

I haven't seen much Tyler vs. Josh debate going on lately. Its been josh vs. Landry. Which is A very legitimate debate right now in my opinion.

In essence. If we are only signing a backup pf. Do you go for the cheaper guy who knows the system or do you overspend for someone who isn't better than hansbrough and can't rebound?

I think Josh would look good in a Lakers uni.

Would be nice to find a way to do a sign and trade + Rush for Mayo or something.

High anxiety in Pacerland. He should go play for the Lakers. He'd enjoy his role so much more. They'd make sure he was used effectively. McRoberts could be so good. I'm blaming O'Brien. He was a good teacher, but a "perfect college coach". I can't wait to see how this coaching staff will handle our current talent. McRoberts is a different skill set, which I think we could have utilized more appropriately. The Lakers would be capable of taking advantage of his skill set.

good luck getting PT on those other teams Josh.

Honestly I like the kid, looks like a hard worker, entertaining player. But after 3 years in the league....

    A. he can't shoot
    B. He can't defend the post
    C. Average Rebounder at best
    D. Has no post moves to speak of
    C. Has no face up and drive game despite his passing and Dribbling being his best assets.

    I will say this.

I'm going to be upset when we play him and he gets an alley oop and throws down a one handed dunk.
