Default What type of rotations can we expect with FA additions

    Current lineup

    PG: Collison, Hill?, Price
SG: George, Hill, Stephenson, Jones, Rush, (Possibly) Crawford
    SF: Granger, George, Posey
PF: Tyler, FA or Player traded for
C: Hibbert, Foster(after the bulls series i hope stays)
    -------------------------------------------------------

If we land crawford which i really think we can then what happens with minutes being divided up? Hill's number as a guard scare me a bit. Most would agree he is 2 but, with Granger occupying SF and our up and coming star PG playing mostly at SG how do we divide up minutes between PG, Crawford, Hill, and Stephenson. Not to mention Jones and Rush who shouldnt even be here anymore.

The bulls will only offer crawford the mid-level. i would be satisfied with giving him more like 7mil a year.

    -----------------------------------
any thoughts? if we land crawford then we would most certainly have to amnesty jones or rush. I would really rather jus trade rush at this point he is on barrowed time. Bottom line are there enough minutes to go around if crawford comes to indy?

Jared Wade, 8 Points, 9 Seconds: That George Hill "probably needs to become a full-time shooting guard." If that happens, it means Indiana (1) values Darren Collison as its point guard, (2) trusts A.J. Price to play all the backup minutes at the point, and (3) won't really have the wing minutes to rationalize signing a guy such as Jamal Crawford in addition to Hill, George and Danny Granger.

I think we'll be able to better predict the rotations when we know who is going to be on the team.

You can add Pendergraph to the PF depth.

Wasn't Crawford thought to be a Jalen Rose clone? If I am not mistaken, he played point guard in Chicago. He is a very versatile offensive player. I am not certain why we made a trade for George Hill when Crawford is a free agent who will most certainly become a Pacer if the rumor mills are accurate.

I think the rotation will look like this:

PG - Darren Collison, George Hill, A.J. Price
SG - Paul George, Jamal Crawford, George Hill
SF - Danny Granger, Paul George, James Posey
PF - A free agent to be named, Tyler Hansbrough, Jeff Pendergraph
C - Roy Hibbert, A free agent to be named, Jeff Pendergraph

I am making two assumptions about this line-up.

First, Brandon Rush will not be on the 2011-2012 roster. Second, while I hope the Pacers resign Jeff Foster, I am certain they will sign a free agent to be named. This player will player power forward and may be able to play center. If he cannot balance his minutes between power forward and center, I expect the Pacers to find a worthy back up to Roy Hibbert. Finally, it is clear that the Pacers do need depth at SF and C. Perhaps we missed out on Mike Dunleavy and we may miss out on Jeff Foster.
