Your takeaway from Jamal is he can create shots just not hit them. I'm kinda floored. I'm not arguing he hits 50% of them, but damn it's clutch self-created jumpshots, I don't think hitting 40% of those is that ridiculous. Hell, look up Kobe's %'s sometime in that regard.

Jamaal Crawford is that guy on the opposing team that always hits the dagger. He has killed the Pacers numerous times. I want him. ha

And I'd add you make 0% of the shots you can't take because you can't create them when end-of-game pressure is on.

IF he is able to pass as well as shoot if someone else ends up in an open position, this is a no-brainer. While I haven't watched him enough against anyone but us, I seem to remember that wasn't a problem when Atlanta was lighting us up.

That's not his shooting percentage on clutch shots. That's his shooting percentage period.

    Who would you prefer?

    Crawford or Jason Richardson?

    One year apart (Crawford's older)

    Crawford's a significantly better passer.

    J-Rich has better percentages.

By the way I was watching a Jamaal Crawford interview and somebody mentioned that there is a 3 1/2 minutes video of him hitting clutch shots, let me see if I can find it.
Ok it was a 4 point play Mix

Problem is, he hits about 40% of all of his shots, not just clutch shots. Career .410 average.

Who cares? there is a reason why he is a bench player, if his porcentage was higher he'll be an starter and be getting pay over 10mil easy.

They are both going to contenders IMO.

Crawford may be the one who doesn't just because of style of play but J-rich is for sure IMO.

He has been getting paid 10m a year in the past and that is likely what it would take to get him in BnG. I do care because if we shoot 40% with bad shot selection we aren't winning many game

At 2:55, the whistle was blown before he was even "touched." That's ridiculous. All he does is shoo then fall down and gets the call. He has to lead the league in 4-point plays, I'd imagine.
    Here we come lottery?

I am on board with crawford as long as it doesnt exceed 8M a year

I think he would fit in lovely

On the Griz, they would then have 3max guys : Gay, Gasol and Randolph, factor in 45M for Connelly and OJ is up for an extension

    lots of $$$$$$
I think Hibbert for Gasol is a great trade for both teams. Hibbert likely gets better and comes sooooo much cheaper that the Grizz can survive financially with Gay, Randolph, and Conley all signed for huge deals already. It also gives them flexibility to resign Mayo if they so choose. As much as they would miss Gasol, getting an inexpensive Hibbert with Gay coming back may keep them moving in teh right direction.

Obviously works well for us since we get teh better player in the deal and he fills a huge void in the interior defense. By trading with them instead of simply maxing out Gasol, we may be able to sign Gasol to a more reasonable 4 yr deal which helps us as well obviously.

I'll sign off in a a heartbeat and throw in Rush as a parting gift.

We then can turn our attention to Landry and or Crawford and have a really interesting team.

Collectively, you guys are impossible. Every player has some fatal flaw that means we can't or shouldn't sign them or trade for them. Terrific.

So it's fine to pay a bench player with a bad FG% $7 or 8 million, but if he was a starter making $10 mil it'd be a concern.

I don't think that's what most have been saying. Free agents, like all things, for most of us come down to price.

Nene at 14 million? No thanks. Nene at 12 million? Ok, I can maybe buy it. Nene at 10 million? Fo sho.

Same goes for Gasol for me basically, though I'm a little more inclined to over pay for him.

Crawford at 10 million? No thanks. Crawford at 8 million? I'm in. Crawford at 6 million? Hooray.

As long as the signings are to decent contracts I could care less. I wanted Jason Richardson before we got Hill. I still like Crawford and even Richard Jefferson if he is amnesty player.

Give me Crawford or Jason for 6 million and Jefferson for 4. I don't know if thats enough to sway them from going to a contender but I wouldn't be pissed if they were signed.

The same goes for Nene or Gasol or West. If its to a decent contract then I am all ears.

So collectively you expect everyone to agree on anyone? You're right, that is impossible. It should also be expected. That's common sense.

As far as Jamal, if you have the talent on offense like Atlanta had to limit his opportunities he's much more effective. If you let him have free reign like he did in New York, Chicago and Golden State he's going to be inefficient as can be more often than not.

I want to wait for amesty and trades before over paying really the season and camp is so short staying in tact for just this year wouldn't be terrible IMO and actually pretty smart. Overpending will kill our chances moving forward we are in a position to get bargains we should take advantage.
