I wish I knew what day it was. Hard for me to commit otherwise.
...& instead of opening night we will find out we have already been mathmatically eleminated from the playoff's, we will find Murphleavy is still on the roster, Tinman is still on his couch & on our payroll, JO'B has Hibbert working on his 3 pt'er's, and he will be telling Mike Wells that our hopes & dreams of a new future w/ a young coach, young core, & cap space were irrelevent!

But with the lockout coming so early I'd assume that visitors had all sorts of tentative, easy to back out of arrangements on travel/hotels and the NBA would need to rework who teams are playing to keep the in-conference volume and to cut back the out of conference games.
I just looked now that you mention it, and I saw this:
So it WON'T be Sunday, Tuesday, or Saturday, which means it's going to be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.Pacers Indiana Pacers
@irismjohnson It won't be 12/25, 12/27 or 12/31. Hope that narrows it down for you.
I think Chris Denari said to someone our first game is Monday the 26th, but I'm suspecting that will be a road game, which would mean we're looking at Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
Friday would seem like the obvious choice, but who knows.
Odds are I won't be able to go on Thurs. or Fri., so I guess I'm rooting for Wednesday.
It'll still be a sellout.
I hope it's a good game and a Pacers win so these people don't disappear the rest of the season and the rest of our sellouts are when the bandwagoners come.
Either way, I still expect much improved attendance this year anyway.

In 49 states it's just basketball, but this is Indiana!
