Long time ago I posted some articles talking about him been a pain the a** teammate(in denver), Posey is on the same boat.
That proves nothing. Like I said, either way, it doesn't really matter. I doubt Dahntay's leadership positively or negatively affected the team in any real way. Same with Posey. Star players set the tone leadership wise.

I ask again: Where is the news on Foster? I want Foster back, dammit.

I agree that Posey's and DJ's leadership doesn't really matter, they are scrubs that nobody respect anyway, regarding Foster, I don't know I'm pretty sure he is healthy and ready to play for a championship team, he is an unrestricted free agent right?

First only way we loose Foster if he justs wants a chance to play for a ring

otherwise I say he plays one more year then has a job in the Pacers front office

    Back to D Jones

and lets play devils advocate here

lets say it did have a negative effect earlier on the team

They magically kissed and made up prior to the playoffs?

Then they are much better actors than NBA players becuase they sure fooled the heck out of me, having me think how focused and united they were in the playoffs

this no one on the team respects the 12th man who never plays barking out and trying to lead. It is about how the 1,2,3 guys lead and set the tone.

I get that the Bulls just shut us down in the closing minutes and we blew some games there because we didn't have any one on one guys, but Jamal Crawford'd be overreacting to it. The guy just chucks bad shots. It's a young squad, of course they'll have trouble scoring down the stretch in their first playoff series against the best defensive squad in the league.
The Pacers couldn't get any outside scoring against the Pistons in the ECF outside of Reggie so they solved that by getting....

    Stephen Jackson.

And since I stand by my view that he wasn't nearly the demon human being people said he was, I don't have a problem with it from that view point.

The problem was that his SELECTION stinks and he was way too streaky and hot headed on the court. And that selection problem makes this a perfect example of why you avoid Crawford.

I know George Hill isn't the be-all, but with he and Collison playing and what should be an even more improved Paul George, it's not like you don't have guys who can get past people and create space/movement to work out of.

I'm fine to get a guy, certainly it's going to be nice to replace Dun and probably DJones, but let's not go crazy here.

Double that if NEXT YEAR could result in Eric Gordon returning.

The depth in the front court is dangerously low. Give Roy, Josh or Tyler 2 fouls in the first 4 minutes and its basically game over.

There was a nice interview with Foster back in October saying he was keeping in good shape. Will try to find it.

You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

I've always liked Jamal Crawford and wouldn't mind bringing him here. However, it would be tough to get him, Paul and Lance the minutes they each deserve.

No way do you offer EJ only a one year contract... And even if we did, I believe that the Clips could offer more years... They simply have to match the amount... And I am of the belief that EJ is potentially to be had next year if you max him out, which I would...

I am certainly not a fan of Crawford, but I think his shot selection has gotten much better than it used to be. He has matured in that area.
I completely agree. Yet, I can't say that I'm at all excited by the idea of him on our team.

Lance Stephenson and Jeff Foster were the only two players to workout at Conseco today. Most players will be back in Indy this weekend.

I would have loved to see them practice together. Talk about polar opposites.

Funniest scene @ VC: Roy Hibbert saw Flip Saunders walking down hallway. "Wassup, coach!" Flip looked back, waved & quickly shuffled away

FWIW, there is a short interview with Jeff on the Pacers website. To me, it seems as if he'd rather stay here in Indy. At least that's what I'm hoping for...
    Thank you Jeff.

I'd still like to keep Jones. His salary is next to nothing, he has a clearly defined role as a defensive stopper off the bench, and he's played well in the playoffs. The way the East is shaping up the Pacers are probably going to have to go through the Bulls at some point, and it doesn't hurt to have a few guys to throw at Derrick Rose. Just my two cents.
