watched some Texas games from earlier this year

myck kabongo needs a lot of work I hope to catch the next Texas game to see how he is progressing. The games ive seen you can see the length he is a long armed 6"1 and potential but he commits a lot of stupid plays and fouls. He is only a freshman so come March he should be a totally different player he will have a lot more seasoning then.

The games ive been watching some tourney in New Jersey J'Covan Brown has been dominating he can score the ball. He is a pg as well and taking away a lot of kabongo's scoring opportunity

Festus Ezeli made his return tonight was really rusty got tripled team every time he touched the ball he really changes things for Vandy when he plays. I expect him to have a great year but his minutes were limited because he is just coming off and injury but he put up a great game tonight in limited time. He really helps John jenkins and Jeff Taylor who both had great games and were helped by the hard picks of Ezeli and the attention he gets in the paint.

FL just plays stupid take really bad shots make really bad decisions they went from an inside team last year to playing Brad Beal at SF this year who is 6"4. Team is polar opposite of the team Billy had last year they make JOB proud thats for sure they took 40 3pt shots in a game this season lol.

Patric Young reminds me of Jeff Foster both very active on the boards and both use that tip out move on the offensive glass. But Pat is much better at running the floor and has a much better body. He has really good defensive fundamentals he should be a good defender in the NBA. I think he will be very verstile in the NBA he will be able to play the 4&5 but his offense game needs to keep improving it is much better than last summer when he played in the u18's in Lithuania. He also plays with a lot of heart and effort and sets good hard screen he is a good player.

    Anyone else watching Xavier/Cincy?

Some guys need removed from their colleges.

    Pacers-Pistons brawl, college edition.

Yancy Gates, whoever he is one of them.

    LOL
that was sad yet pretty funny typical battle of Cincinnati until it turned ugly Xavier should of put the bench in game was over.

Yancy Gates will be done for the season IMO or at least should be.

At least if I was his coach he would.

Yeah, if I'm coach I would call the NCAA and Big East and tell them to not bother, I am going to suspend Gates longer than you will. He didn't just hit him harder than any UFC hit I'll probably see tonight, he started kicking him when he was down. That's what got me.

There's no video of this online yet.

I've heard one of Xaviers' players, the one sucked punched by Yancy Gates (6'9", 260 lb.), left the floor with his face covered in blood.

Lance totally would have broken up the fight if he stayed in school.

Low quality, and it's a short video... but it is a video, at least:

Turns out I was wrong about Yancy Gates, he didn't kick Frease in the head when he was down, it was someone else. I have no tolerance for it, and I hope that's how it's approached by each school, not the NCAA or conference. It should be handed more strict by the schools than anyone.

He's great at driving to the rim and drawing contact, but he tends to be a black hole.

He's one of my favorites too. Good floor general, can shoot the ball well, plays pretty good defense. I highly doubt he'll drop that far, but I'd easily pick him up in the 2nd round.

Are we far enough under the cap to absorb his contract?

Doron, Lamb is a nice late 1st early 2nd pick.

By the way Wjilcher or however you spell it is completely underwhelming.

Drinking game, but you only want to play it for a 2 minutes, or you'll die.

take a shot every time Vitale says Zeller.

He is very under achieving at times, sometimes he looks like a all star and others not so much.

I think he(Davis) should stick around at UK one more year, give him time to get used to figuring out his game on lesser competition, as well as physically get bigger. His is really going to have to learn not to get in foul trouble, I know this does not always happen, but man, in a big game like this you have to make wise decisions.

na he is to good defensively to stay another year. He will be a top 3 pick just based on defense.
