I didn't know Gonzalez was still on the team...

Weak defense and a young qb. The Suck for Luck train has pulled out of the station.

You have to tank hard to lose a 17 point lead to the Cheifs. This is impressive.

Clark's drops are just pathetic. Especially that last one. Can he not catch a ball from someone other than Manning?

I'm honestly surprised we're going to lose this one, and that doesn't happen often.

The Colts couldn't stop 3rd and 1 if you told them what play was coming...

Unfortunately, Clark's drops will probably be the excuse to take the blame off the defense... and the failed defensive scheme/system...

The Cheifs have nothing to be ashamed about here. The Colts were just the better losers.

The only guy in Kansas City happy about this is Matt Cassell, he might have his job next year.

It's tough enough to lose when they throw Lacey on Bowe, but when they put Rucker on Breaston with no help? Cheifs never had a chance.

Small and fast defenses.... As the season moves forward players frequently get nicked up and aren't as fast anymore... But they are still small!

Let's be honest here. Putting Gonzales in there and running the play for him, was essentially the equivlant of the victory formation, if you're trying to lose.

True, if they were trying to win they would have locked Gonzalez in his oxygen chamber before the game.

I think Caldwell in his history has shown that he's perfectly capable of making the game winning call, for the other team, with no thoughts of tanking necessary.

I'm glad we actually opened that retractable roof that cost like 75 mil. I was at this game last year (which was week 5 like this week) and it was a warm day like today with abundant sunshine as far the eyes could see but the fools had it closed.
You mean Peyton had it closed.

Also, I gotta say, and I don't think this happens as much in sports as a lot of people do, but I think we're tanking. In fact, I'm almost sure of it at this point. Our offensive guys might be trying to win games, but the play calling defensively is designed for us to give up touchdowns at key points.

I really do think we are tanking, and I think Caldwell has signed on with full agreement because its the best way to keep his job. Toe that company line *******!

Seriously, I'm about done with this franchise til they change the front office. IMO this is worse than anything the Pacers ever put us through. This is a blatant disregard for some of the talents on this team and the windows they have left on their career. It's almost insulting.

Why would Peyton want it closed on a perfect 80 degree day?

The way I've heard it is that if Peyton had his way the thing would never be open.

It actually seemed like the offensive play calling changed in the second half. Like Painter was lighting it up so they had to go more conservative.

It's like we've designed it so we get just enough highlight plays to stay in contention and then pull the plug right when we need to.

"Ok, time to run Cover 2 with the 10 yard cushion on this 3rd and 7, the Chiefs really need to score here...Better put Lacey on Bowe and just take Powers off the field to be sure."
