Default The Star is reporting Manning will move to the sidelines...

The Indystar is saying Manning says his doctors have cleared him to be on the sidelines during games (instead of in the booth).

Make of it what you will...
    Bad idea?
    Normal progress?
    Fast progress?
The doctors couldn't keep him from the sidelines any longer?
Fast track to getting back on the field?
Nothing meaningful one way or the other?
    Other?
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

Nothing meaningful one way or the other. What no poll?

I don't like this idea because we all know the Colts/Chiefs game will be a lousy one(at least on paper) and they'll end up panning to Manning's face every time and really I rather not have salt rubbed on this wound.

We know he's not playing and this season for all intents and purposes is a wash. Why bother?

Unless he's actually the one coaching or something.

I see this as nothing meaningful in him playing sooner wise, but he may be more helpful to Painter with him being available to discuss strategy face to face.

Why do I have a horrible feeling the twin idiots Polian and Irsay are going to insist Peyton play in November or December which will enable the Colts to play themselves out of the top 3 and lose the chance to draft Khalil.

I wouldn't put it past them but wouldn't he have to be cleared? I don't see that happening.

I do see them thinking the Colts fans are as dumb as they are (they seem to think rather little of us) and believe if they pump the fanbase false hope that he will return fans won't run for the hills(and when I mean fans I mean the bandwagoners who only go to Colts games to watch the team when they win and namely for Manning)

I'll believe he'll be playing when I see it and even then I'll be doing a double take WTF?!
