Thread: Andrew Luck Thread

I figured I would go ahead and make this so we can update how our future QB is doing in College as the season progresses.

I was just looking at our schedule. If we don't win at home v. KC next week, I'm not sure we have another game we can realistically win. Maybe we will be in position to take Luck.

Maybe Painter Painter actually improves a little bit. Even if that happens, though, there are so many issues with this team.

If I didn't think we were going to get Dexter Mccluster'ed to death next week, I would have held off on this thread.

I'm posting from my phone these days and not sure how to embed video. Can someone embed the Luck one hand catch and Luck destroying a USC player after he recovers a fumble?

We aren't going to get Luck, guys. You're just setting yourselves up for disappointment.

Even if we get the #1 pick, Polian will **** it up.

Judging by these clips he could be our best tackler and second best receiver till Peyton hands him the QBing reigns.

    Sadly, I agree with Shade.

I just get the feeling that, if we did get the #1 pick, Polian (Bill or Chris, either one) would manage to f**k it up.

Miami just raised the stakes. Henne gone for the season. They're threatening to sign Trent Edwards. If that's not tanking, I don't know what is.

Just what exactly does Curtis Painter, Dan Orlovsky and working out Brody Croyle represent ??

If we happen to land the #1, we need to trade for a ransom. This team has sooooooooo many needs right now. You don't pick Luck and have him sit through his entire rookie contact while Manning plays.

Hopefully there are some major changes this offseason, especially changing the defensive scheme. The Tampa-2 just doesn't work like it used too, and we've never had the right personell to see it succeed (see lack of good DTs).

    This is asinine.

It's far from from a sure thing Manning ever plays again. If he does, it's even more unlikely he finishes his contract. He'll be 36 years old coming off of 3 neck surgeries.

Andrew Luck is the best quarterback prospect since Peyton was in the draft. You do not pass that up.

If you take Luck, you can use every draft pick you have for the next decade on the other needs.

Landry Jones has some of the best footwork he should be a solid nfl qb as well imo. Luck is better but Jones should be pretty damn good.

From the final minute of the first half until the end of the game, we were throttled 21-0.

    By the Kansas City Chiefs.

    In our own stadium.

    Luck is on the way.

are the Colts gonna switch to a west coast offense? Jim Hargbough runs the exact same offense as he did at Stanford. Watching Stanford yesterday and the 49ers today looks like a carbon copy offense. They both use 2 or 3 TE's each play and do a lot of play action passes and short passes before they go deep. Andrew Luck is so quick and fast for his size he is perfect for that style of offense. But really he is perfect for any offense.
