Default Anyone else see the Haywood/Antonio Davis bout tonight?

They just went after each other in the 4th qtr...haywood managed to land a coupel body blows by my cound, but I docked him in points when he totally missed AD's head on that left hook....AD showed nice form in body-slamming him to the ground......

....the best part was when Eddy curry came over delivered a "crushing" shot to Haywood's balls, while AD was holding him down....

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Sorry Kstat, our posts were like 3 seconds apart, I tried to delete mine, but couldn't, lol

Hell yes, that was crazy, especially the shot by Curry, I about lost it when I saw that.

Plus, the sportscenter announcers cracking on that kid in the crowd, looking for a score of 100, so he could get a free BigMac, that was funny as hell.

The weird part was that Haywood wasn't even ejected from the game.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Also AD probably won't be around for the home opener versus the Pacers. I wouldn't be surprised if he was suspended for 5-10 regular season games. He did quote a lot of punching and kicking.

Also, Haywood, and Curry should/will more than likely be suspended as well for the usual 2 games.

Hey, I'm all for opposing players being held out of our games. I don't mind winning easy.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!
