    Default Steelers@Colts Game/Post-Game

Anybody out there wanna talk about this game?

Our DBs were nowhere near anybody coverage or tackling on their 1st series. I guess what should I expect.

**** ya Mike Wallace is saving me in one of my leagues. It may not be enough but he is helping me make a huge come back.

I mean, who keeps putting dallas clark on the top pass rushers in the league?!

Theirs a serious coaching issue on this team when Mike Wallace is one on one with Pat Angerer and Clark is blocking James Harrison. These coaches need to go. That s unacceptable.

Has there ever been a team expected to be SB contenders that has ever been so poorly constructed... from system to coaching to players... that the loss of one player shows how poor they actually are in nearly every slice of the game?

I'm amazed that Caldwell had been giving the pass for this stuff. It's been happening since week one.

How are we going to use the #1 pick? Is there any way Caldwell loses his job? He has the Manning excuse, but he sucks. I think it would take 1-15 for Polian to oust him, sadly.

Their "pass" is Manning being injured.

Its a cop out and a BS one at that.

No team should fall apart like this after losing one player(albeit an important one)

A dropoff? Yes but if they're a real SB contender it would be to a mediocre team.

    We're AWFUL

The Colts are exposed as frauds without Manning.

Pains me to say but its true.

As I posted a couple of weeks ago, Manning made up for A LOT of issues on this team --- coaching included. This is UGLY football. This team is badly coached, can't tackle, can't play defense, and has TERRIBLE special teams. And, as exposed tonight, their offensive 'skill' players can't block for ****. They'd probably be MAN HANDLED by any number of college (and maybe even high school) teams.

    Now, they also can't score.

Time to think about a COMPLETE overhaul.

    This is BEYOND UGLY.

Oh, and, BAD IDEA to bring Collins in. Their raw backup could **** things up every bit as good as Collins can.

    That or an empty stadium.

Look the only way to get rid of Caldwell is to get rid of Polian too.

Getting rid of Caldwell won't really improve anything because you know Bill would hire someone just like him easy to control.

They both have to be axed.

You'd expect the offense to go outta synch without Manning but you'd think they'd at least rise to mediocre after a couple of games. But regardless of the offense, there's little excuse for the Colts' ST's or defense... Let alone game planning and game management issues.

I don't understand why they dont put Painter in. He's hungrier, he has something to prove and he's playing for a job. Everything Collins isn't.

Look after a few more hits where Collins is taken out of the game because he's hurt we'll see Painter. He won't be that much better either but at least this should decide whether he's worth being on this roster or not.

A sign of Polian's arrogance is how long he's kept Painter on the roster with several people saying we needed an upgrade there and then when it looks like we're going to need our B/U he goes shopping for a starting QB all of a sudden. ...Kinda justified all the talk these past couple of years about needing an upgrade over Painter.... Yet the person most connected with the team couldn't make that move and admit that until he HAD to...

TD here would be a major accomplishment.

Interesting to see how we'd respond if we actually could put up a fight/be in a game.

Needed 7 there. Why is Collins going to the Polamalu match up there? Red zone impotence is us.

You know the Steelers aren't that impressive to me which makes it even sadder that Manning is not out there because we could easily beat this team down.
