I still wouldn't go that far. The Super Bowl team was pretty damn talented. Harrison and Wayne were pro-bowl receivers. We still had Tarik Glenn and a nasty O-Line back then. The Addai/Rhodes combo was very effective. Freeney and Mathis were in their prime and Sanders were healthy in the playoffs. That team was legit talented. And the team that lost to Pitt the year before that was probably our best team ever.
Also can anyone tell me when the game was like 17-12, why the F&CK we stopped running the *** damned football! F&cking *** damn Caldwell. Addai has 14 carries for 64 yards. Only we would stop running the ball when we are getting nearly 5 yards a pop. Addai probably wishes we hadn't re-signed him.
The loss was completely on the offense today. The defense for the most part was relatively decent, but we couldn't do anything at all in the red zone and Collins completely shat the pot on 3 or 4 drives, just absolutely squandered them and looked clueless.
I can't believe JMV thought this team could go 8-8. What's even funnier is that he thought the people questioning him on that were the ones with the loose screws......
He honestly tried to say we have an easy schedule. No schedule with Pitt, @ Tampa, @ NO, Atlanta, @ NE, @ Baltimore is an easy schedule.
Of course, as we saw today, it doesn't matter who we are playing, Our team is crap.
JMV is a douche though he tells us that we're too hard on Caldwell. And that the players were to blame for the Texans loss and while they aren't faultless the coaching sucked too. But he's like no its the players only
