    Once the NBA gets back in business, teams need to consider banning their players from having twitter accounts. It's unprofessional and can easily lead to bad things.
    banning players from having twitter accounts would be terrible. the amount of fan interaction and publicity players and teams gain through twitter, for free, is ridiculous. they just need to educate their players on social media and how to properly use it at the celebrity level.

    I agree. There needs to be a social media course requirement for any professional athlete, and those athletes should be required to complete it prior to being permitted to do so as a term of their standard contract.

    Fixed

    The amount of publicity that Lance could generate is minimal at this point. I would have no problem at all from banning him from twitter.

    That's what the Rookie Camp is supposed to be about. But you have 20 year old knuckleheads like Beasley and Company that think it's just a place to smoke dope with their friends.
