Our 06 team was pretty damn talented. Harrison and Wayne were both pro bowl receivers. Clark was great. We still had Tarik Glenn and that was when our O-Line was still really good. Because of that, the Addai/Rhodes combo was very effective that season. Plus we had Freeny and Mathis in their prime and a healthy Sanders come playoff time. That team had a lot more talent than the teams we've put out there the last few years.
No doubt that team was legit talented. The team that lost to the Saints, not so much.

Well there's one way of looking at it but imagine if he can take this team and make it a playoff contender imagine what he could've done with a far more balanced team.

A potential dynasty that will never be realized at this point in his career.

    Just sad to me.
Yes, like we've been saying for a while, for the past 5 years we've wasted Peyton Manning.

Caldwell and inspire are contrary by nature - quintessential paradox / oxymoron.

Unless used in the context of Caldwell inspires me to acid reflux.

    I know that's my point.

If this was Dungy maybe there might be some hope even with this dismal showing but Caldwell?

I get nothing and it just shows the rest of the Football loving nation how stupid the Colts look hiring this tool.

Yes, no question. The 09 success was pretty much all because of Manning. He pulled wins out of his *** all year.

Collins not throwing the ball well even when given time.

Maybe we will have better fortunes in the Andrew Luck era. At this rate, he's ours.

Good to see special teams still living up to its high standards. That's a Caldwell guy, no? And Coyer, too.

    EDIT: And Collins, too.

    We are doomed. Thanks, Polian.

LOL, this is just comical at this point. I'm glad Peyton is sitting this season out because even with him this team was going NOWHERE.

Is Peyton Manning the greatest player of all time? I mean seriously.

Also, are we really give the Texans credit for this? It's pretty clear the Colts are going to take a butt pounding all year.

Yep I thought that it would be 24-17 Texans that the Texans would brush this game off and overlook us but still win based on talent.

But they smell blood and going for the kill.

Its what you need to do to win.

I respect the Texans now more so than the Colts which is sad to me.

Even the most pessimistic of fans couldn't have foreseen this. This is embarrassing. No pride. Lucky they aren't at home or people would boo the **** out of this effort.

I predicted the Colts would win 3 games this year. Looks like it will be a miracle if they get to that. I would cut Kerry Collins and just go with no painter (not even kidding )

Yep. You've gotta be pretty bad to fail to exceed my low expectations.

I'm seriously thinking 0-16 at this point.

If Caldwell had any balls or any vision, he'd bench the whole starting D and start over.

He can't do that he needs to ask Polian for permission.

Secure Andrew Luck as the #1 pick

If he's as good as they say he is then Painter would've actually been useful to us for once.

If we win less than four games, even without Manning, Caldwell needs to be fired. For God's sake hire Jeff Fisher.
