If I was the Texans I'd step on the Colts throat here. Not that it's needed, but it IS the right thing to do...

Glad to see we adjusted to the bootleg at halftime.

At this point, if the Colts did decide to call Favre, you could probably hear his laugh all the way from Mississippi....

Indy Colts D-line, where our best (and only legit) DT is rookie 4th round pick.

Would you blame him? He's probably thinking "Damn even I couldn't do anything with this team"

Don't forget, the Texans have done this AFTER wasting their first series on that flukey Bullitt INT. They were driving on that one so it COULD be even worse.

Someone needs to tell Polian that there are defenders now who are both big and fast.

I'm all for signing the 55 year old version of Joe Montana right now to get his spot in the top 10 back

The Colts are much closer to the NFL version of the post-Lebron Cavaliers than the sans Brady Patriots. However, we've got the following going for us:

1.) There is no lottery in the NFL
2.) Peyton is presumably coming back
3.) We won the SB in 2006

Time to pull a San Antonio.

Ahh today is a good day for my cable not to work. It is much easier to look at this game on paper than it would be to watch it.

People say how giving Manning all that money was a mistake. As far as I am concerned he is worth it and this game shows why. He has earned every penny of that freaking contract. I just don't know what to think. I always knew this team relied on Peyton way too much but it's difficult to see it show like this.

22 players play in the NFL 5 in the NBA huge difference you cant just draft one player to turn it around. Unless of course you have a great defense and just needed a QB.

Oddly enough Peyton and Duncan are good friends

So we can see the parallels in this situation with Robinson/Duncan and Manning/Luck

It would also make what Manning said about Luck waiting the following year seem all the more fortuitous.

They also I think got new management at that point Robinson retired with his second ring no less.

Funny, because we happened to do just that.

Unless that player is Peyton, a fact that has been made obvious today.

At least with Manning you know he's earned it I look at the rest of the team except for Addai and Clark and look rather disgusted right about now.

At this rate I think Manning may have been a discount.

    I must add:

60 yards of penalties and 2 turnovers. Tony Dungy would not be proud.
