Whew, there is nothing to be excited about here only relieved that they didn't lose.

Oladipo had no business sucking into the lane like that there. He would have been the goat if that open look goes...despite his late game heroics.

    Hell of a gutty win.

AT&T is going to get an earful on Monday.

The only bad thing about this is that UK is going to kick our asses.

Yeah, revenge will be on their minds, but Sweet 16 to mean completely proves this team was for real. That they were as good as their big wins. And it sets us up nicely moving forward with momentum. And maybe UK is off their game a bit and we pull off another miracle.

And, you know, if we somehow managed to beat the odds again, we'd have a pretty friendly (relatively) path to the semifinals at that point. Gotta just goes balls out and let the chips fall where they may.

Glad IU won.... but I think KY would've had problems against VCU's pressure. That would've been an interesting game to see.

Reminded me in a way of the NCST win there where we made a big run to get in position to win late.

Really proud of Watford tonight. Man...when he gets motivated (/mad), he's unstoppable. Realize it was just for a spurt, but without that spurt, IU gets blown out.

Nobody in the country will be picking IU to win. No better time than to play loose and play inspired. You've got nothing to lose guys. Lets take it to them!

The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

10pm? That seems really late especially for an Atlanta tip.

There was a brief, and very decisive, and altogether unprecedented, outburst of genuine officiating, and it was directed at the best player in the world, and that, my dear young person, simply is not done."

I'm glad we just played such a great defense in VCU going into the Kentucky game. I think it gives us a better shot at winning. We are over matched against Kentucky and aren't in Bloomington anymore, so its likely we lose... But, I really feel playing against such a tough team defensively really helps our chances coming off with the W tonight.

I agree. Well, first game of the night starts at about 7:15. Let's say it takes longer than two hours, as tourney games almost always do, then add a half hour between games. That'll put you at about 10pm.

I will say that I've read the game could be moved to the early slot, so stay tuned and we'll know for absolute certain later today.

What does this have to do with anything? First of all, it's a tournament with essentially pre-determined game times - two teams are going to have to play in the late slot no matter what. Also, how would starting a game at 10pm possibly be catering towards NYC?

I would think it's the Chicago demographic more than NYC that is in play. 10PM start probably hurts the NYC demo. Of course the west coast would be fine with a 10PM EDT start.
