Honestly, neither of these QBs is great...Marve is higher risk-higher reward...
I do not think either is much better than the other as well, but Mavre is just seems turnover prone I feel, and in a situation where we just need not to turnover the ball I would have to go with the other option.
Got very lucky on the XP, had a few good drives, and OSU offense is incredibly bad (although we even stopped their run today, which was a pleasant surprise).
If he beats IU, Hope deserves another year, I would have to say.
That is for everyone who said we had "NO chance" against OSU, extremely happy right now.....
Did anyone say that?
OSU sucks this year, but you guys seem to have their number even when they are good. I am actually glad to see you guys win. Some team in Indiana has to keep the pride up. Plus I live in the thick of Ohio State country and I love seeing these people freak out after every loss. Congrats on saving Hope's job for another year!
Meh, Hope'd probably be back next year regardless, his contract goes through 2014 and unless Morgan Burke leaves before then we're stuck with Hope until at least through next season if not 2 more seasons. Going to the Burlington Coat Factory Bowl or something probably doesn't make a difference.
I checked his Wikipedia article to make sure about the contract length, there's a section on "worst defensive performance in Purdue history," the Wisconsin game a few weeks ago.
I've got a shitload of complaints about that High Point game but it's late/early and I'm not going to type them out. Just a memo to Matt Painter, since I know he's reading, you can score points inside of 20 feet. Win's a win and all that, but that was pathetic.
