I'm starting this game thread early because there's another game on TV that I'm probably going to be busy watching tonight...

is this going to be on wibc.com
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Best way to listen is nba.com's audio league pass, which is free during the preseason anyway. I think at most you have to log in with an account (free) on nba.com. That's where I'm going.

Not for me. I can't get the scores, either.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Sounded like another exciting preseason finish, heh.

106-104 pacers win. Alot of free throw misses down the stretch.

    Here's a Yahoo recap: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2004102316
(The game didn't go into 3 overtimes)

    And here's a box-score: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore?gid=2004102316

A lot of players seemed to do well including Artest, James Jones, Eddie Gill, Reggie, Croshere, and Fred Jones.

Stephen had a tough night shooting, but as it says in the recap, he had 8 of his points in the 4th.

I also had a slight concern with Wally getting 25, but hey it's pre-season.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Nice high-efficiency line for Artest... 6-9, 4-4FT, only took 1 three.

Probably the best line Austin's put out, as well: 4-7, 11pts, 7 rebounds.

Tinsley looks bad with the 4 turnovers.

Reggie's been very efficient so far this preseason, and he hit 5-7 while only taking 2 threes. He's money inside the line, I hope he uses that more this year. Tonight he was 4-5 from inside the three-point line.

Ron had 0 steals and 5 tos. Id rather have him shoot 5-19 have 5 steals and 0tos than see him go 4-7 with 5tos and no steals. Thats a 10 possession swing.

I didnt see the game though, I'm sure he was more effective on D than the box score says. How about Reggie being the quiet assassin tho?
