Yeah me too... I wish the Colts would have taken a chance on him... oh well... can't win them all or any I guess, lol

Anyone heard any word on what Moss is asking for as far as contracts..?

PS... Colts only saved 1 million with cutting Hayden... and they still have 8 million towards the cap for him, why not just re structure his contract...?
Because the Colts FO is stupid. That's all there is to it.
Stop quoting people I have on ignore!

They are restructuring Diem's deal? I don't get this at all. Just cut him. You can find an easy replacement for Diem easily. Guy's worthless.

I'm guessing the Colts cut Hayden in preperation for next year to resign Wayne and Mathis.

And for God's sake, can we please sign a good veteran DT.
Lance + Starting SG = Awesome

    Now really free Lance!

No. I will never understand this either. I am not football expert but I think that it all starts on the defensive line in the Tampa 2.

lol what you mean we just resigned Johnson, lol j/p... So how long was Hayden's contract for... I thought this was the last year... oh well...

But I think the reasoning behind the Diem thing is they haven't signed either oLine pick yet, and even if they did if they didn't turnout to not pick up as fast or if the colts feel like they aren't ready yet, they can put Diem in as a temporary filler. Even if they brought in someone else Diem has a understanding and knowledge of the playbook, and playing with Peyton. That gives him a edge especially with this short off season...

We need to take a chance on T.O. or Randy Moss.

Moss will likely get a Roy Williams type deal IMO 1 yr 1.5m(maybe a little more)

It does getting pressure and being able to stop the run is key

Pats are looking at Tommie Harris are they changing their defense maybe?

    So Randy Moss retired huh...

Interesting... sorry to see him go, but I bet this could just be something so that he can get more interest and maybe a little more money...

We will know by the end of this season...

I'm told Randy Moss didn't find the interest he hoped from his preferred teams like NE Indy, Pitt, and others.

I think Randy Moss could have really helped the Colts. Actually he could have helped about any team. 3 teams in 1 year is all you need to know about him. Really a shame. Sadly I am surprised he didn't become unwanted earlier in his career.

I think Moss would have been a wonderful fit with SD...

Yeah I know there had to be a short list...

    Manning
    Rivers
    Schab
    Ryan - Maybe
    Brady - Maybe
    Rodgers - Maybe
    Sanchez - Maybe

I think that ATL would be interesting but not enough touches, that goes for GB as well. Sanchez well they run a lot and sanchez while he does okay isn't a top NFL QB. Brady... I just think that is a weird situation.

Houston could have used him as well as SD and the Colts... he may not have thought he would have got many touches with the Colts as well, never know though.

I think that another interesting place for him would have been KC... They were a team that showed a lot of promise last year... They have a QB that has a decent arm, and has shown a lot of potential. They need another WR besides Bowe that can contribute(without their current signings), plus Moss has better hands than Bowe. Maybe they wouldn't have made a deep run in the playoffs but he would have been contending, and probably got a lot of touches as well.

Oh well we will see what happens...
