Ok. this is for both the KL and IKL. Are there, besides Newman, any other owners we know or don't know about that are not returning this season?

Do we have suggestions for people to invite? I think this is important as a first step to start the new season and specifically the trading season for both leagues which, I personally, would like to get underway, but maybe that's just me.

I don't see any big rush. There is just SO much up in the air (Earl Clark signed overseas without an opt out clause!?) and I personally don't see any NBA movement till possibly the first of the year. (That's just me) I've been in wait and see mode for the first glimmer of some kind of meaningful negotiations, then I figure we can look at some kind of timetable. Otherwise, I think it's wasted time trying to set anything up.

That's just my opinion. I welcome any other opinions.

As to new owners, I had a couple of feelers from a few folks on Sports.ws I had to turn down, so I may get back with them.

This lockout sucks, I really liked the way my young team was coming along.

Well... for the IKL not so much, but that was inline of my expectations for the first year. However for the KL it does suck indeed as my squad just won it and I would like as many players from my team to build upon the way they played in the 2011 season and that can't really be the case now.

OTOH I have one of the youngest teams in the KL, so normally several of the other playoff teams who have players nearing the end of their careers likely would be hurt more by the lockout then my team. Still it sucks big time.
