Man, that's gonna be tough for him to get over. I'm not saying he's at fault, but he will surely feel like he is. And I'm sure the oncoming lawsuit will try to paint him as negligent. Just a bad situation in many ways.

That is so sad and tragic ofor so many. The son for seeing his dad fall to his death for the outfielder who innocently threw the ball into the stands (something he's probably done a thousand times) to the other ball players who are broken up ovcer this.

He seemed to be fine and was awake after the fall at least that is what is being reported. He told people to get his son. Then in the ambulance he went into cardiac arrest and died. I cant believe he survived the fall head first.

Who organizes safety at these ballparks? Did you see that railing? Was it even 2 ft high? That is and was an accident waiting to happen. Here's hoping all ballparks take a major look at safety.

You should see the railings on the upper deck at Victory Field. I work there, and I'm afraid to even get near those things because they're so short.

Be careful Day-V. Can't believe I still haven't been to Victory field. Probably will never happen but I wonder if Indy could sustain an MLB franchise. I would be more motivated to go if it was MLB.

Maybe not right off the bat but aren't there enough die hard Reds and Cubs fans around Central Indiana that would eventually jump on board?

we are a fair weathered city but even if we weren't we don't have enough people per capital to support a team.
