So far so good with Jackson; I'm hoping he can put up around 15ppg off the bench.

And I saw him force up at least three bad shots, and he still shot that well. He was very impressive tongiht.

Judging from how much he likes to shoot, he can probably put up 20 ppg.

Hopefully they'll eventually decide that it's not a great idea to have their 3rd best SG in the starting lineup. SJax should start.

not gonna happen, get over it
He shoots too much anyway, I can't see him starting with JO and Artest...

Maybe it won't, but he's absolutely right in that he should start.

I like Jackson coming off the bench. If Jax started then the bench would have very little scoring (unless Bender starts playing) Plus Jackson does like to shoot, and I think he is better with the second unit. Although he clearly will play around 30 minutes per game so he'll get plenty of time with J.O and Ronnie

Jackson is satisfied coming off the bench, keep him there and he as a chance of being 6th man of the year

I'm with you. I was really sold on the idea after hearing him score the first 10 Pacers points of the 2nd quarter against Memphis.........

I thought his interview on the postgame show was very good. He says all of the right things.......

I honestly like Sjax coming off the bench , he's proven he can put up some points in a hurry in many ways , with a limited amount of minutes.

When you guys put it like that, it makes me warm up to the idea of him being our 6th man. God knows with how our offense could look last year, having someone like him come in behind the starters could do wonders some games.

And you've got to love the hair! Looks like Jermaine has some competition for most awesome hair due.

SJax is averaging 21.7 ppg in what, 22 minutes of play? Something like that. While I don't look for him to average that during the season, it's nice to see that Bender is no longer our most prolific scorer. Maybe if Jax get's 30 minutes a game he'll average 30 ppg!

    Ok, I can dream can't I?

I was ready to hand him the starting job after last night. And behind Sasoon I am one of Reggie's biggest fans.

He had two assists, too. Not bad considering I don't remember him making a single pass.

(Truth be told, I *am* starting to like him.)

Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

I like Jackson coming off the bench. #1 he doesn't mind being 6th man #2 - he gives a spark off the bench and #3 he gives much needed leadership to the 2nd unit.

The thing I kept thinking about last night is how tough intrasquad scrimmages must be. This team seems even deeper than last year from top to bottom. James Jones may be one part of the IR rotation and he is a great talent!
