Not a very illuminating bunch of guys at the #15 pick. Only 3 of the 30 players in that list have been full-time starters in the NBA and only 1 has played in an All-Star game (Steve Nash) although I think Al Jefferson could possibly be named an All-Star before his career is over.

So if the history reveals anything the player the Pacers select with the 15th pick in the draft has roughly a 3-6% chance of every becoming an NBA All-Star player. Great!

Larry is not coming back, he didn't have a meeting with Orlando for not reason, yeah he is coming back to the NBA but not to the Pacers, the notion that he is a taking a year off and then come back is absurd.

Cool to see not to informative... the talent from each draft available at 15 varies all the time...

I will say one weird thing is when a draft is coming close it always seems like we bust up the potential of all the players... most will never amount to much.. but thats just the culture of the draft.... it is always what if this, or if this player gets this ability, or if he goes to this team, or if he improves his d, most of that stuff never happens...

Just saying... most of these pick were said to have a ton of potential when they were pick but had certain shortcomings... most never overcame those shortcomings...

Hopefully our pick will be different...

There went my warm and fuzzies...
There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

Dell Curry man. There was an old basketball game for the SNES and Curry simply couldn't miss from 3.

Also, Kemp and Barkley were complete beasts in the game. Ok, now I want that game!

I think it was Tecmo Super NBA.

Frederic Weis! I remember how much Knicks fans loved that pick. Ron Artest went #16 right after Weis.

I've still got my old copy of Tecmo Super NBA Basketball for the SNES. It is one of my favorite NBA games of all time. The top 5 for me (in no particular order) are:

    1) Tecmo Super NBA Basketball (SNES)
    2) NBA Jam (SNES)
    3) NBA Live '95 (SNES)
    4) NBA Hangtime (N64)
    5) Bulls vs. Blazers and the NBA Playoffs (SNES)

Unfortunately I don't. A few years back while I was in college, my brother sold my SNES and all my games. He was a real douche back then. So many favorites gone, like that game and Secret of Mana. *sigh*

I got Secret of Mana on the Wii now through the Virtual Console. Do you know if they have Tecmo super NBA? I will download that in a heartbeat.

    Yessiree Bob!

Also, after looking at that list again, I'm thinking that the 15th pick in the draft might be the worse possible first round spot to draft a player.
