Thread: Does Dish Network offer all Pacer games?

Default Does Dish Network offer all Pacer games?

    Hello:

I've had Direct TV for 10 years, but my wife is making me investigate options to our $170 a month cable bill. Now I have NBA League Pass and Fox Sports Indiana.

Do any of you using Dish Network get all of the Pacer games with NBA League Pass and Fox Sports Midwest?

    Thanks

You'll have all the televised NBA Games, including Pacers games, if you order NBA League Pass.

Whether you have Fox Sports Midwest or Fox Sports Indiana depends on where you live. BTW, where do you live?

Larry is not coming back, he didn't have a meeting with Orlando for not reason, yeah he is coming back to the NBA but not to the Pacers, the notion that he is a taking a year off and then come back is absurd.

I live just North of Corydon down near Louisville. Not all Pacer games are shown on our League Pass, which is why I need the Fox Sports channel.

How is FSN doing you any good? I have DirecTv now but have had Dish in the past. In both cases I had/have the Fox Sports package, but only the in market games are available while the rest are blacked out.

Doh...nevermind I seen North and skimmed over the Corydon and somehow I seen Carolina. I get all of the televised games whether they are one NBA network, FSN, or some other national network.

In that area you're probably still going to have Fox Sports Indiana. Of course it all depends on which package you get.

I've had DishNetwork for about 5-6 years and I like their service. Customer service is really easy to get a hold of and take care of any issues quickly and right over the phone. Since you'll be a new customer, they'll give you a ridiculously great price if you switch.

The games that aren't on League Pass have been on Fox Sports Indiana (673 on Direct TV). A lot of the game fall into that category. Direct TV said Fox Sports Midwest (671 on Direct TV) kicks the games over to FSIndiana. I don't get maybe 2-3 games a year in total.

What threw me was that DISH said that Fox Sports didn't offer an Indiana channel, just the Midwest. How do you get Fox SPorts Indiana? (BTW, thanks for helping here).

I'm pretty sure that both Dish and Direct will give you FSI in that area also. The cable companies are the only ones I have ever had a problem with, and that was really a FS Ohio issue. DirecTV and Dish allow me to have FS Cincinnati and Ohio in my area, while Comcast only gave me FSI and FSMW which didnt used to televise as many Reds games as the others.

They may not have it turned on full time, like how Directv does it. If theres a Pacers/Fever game, they turn on the feed.

Where on earth would you have a $170 monthly cable bill?

not as hard as you might think....
    for instance...

I have the Choice plus HDDVR package with Starz and the Fox Sports Package. In addition I have two regular tvs hooked up to 2 non hd receivers. For the first year or so I was getting a good deal, but my bill is currently $135 a month. There is a package above mine, as well as HBO, Cinemax, and Showtime. I could see someone having a $170 bill easily. My contract is up for now so I am still debating what I am gonna do myself.

We had four TVs, 3 of them HD, premier package with all the movie channels, etc. My youngest just moved into his own home, so we're getting rid of 1 connection and cutting down to 2 HD receivers and 1 HD DVR. They were hitting us with a lot of small charges for various things, so that's why I axed them.

The bill at DISH is $81.99 a month for three months, $97.99 for nine months, then $117.99 for the next year. We get all the channels we have now.

I certainly want to thank all of you who helped me out.

I'm thinking the best approach may be to switch back and forth every two years or so.

That really is what its coming to it seems. They say it will never happen, but I want a la carte.
