This is combining my two favorite things in the world: SCII and Basketball. I sorta wish the pacers drafted him now.

As someone who actually spends a fair amount of free time on watching SC2 games (well, the NASL anyway), this might interest me a little. It is kind of a weird "crossover" of my interests.

I've seen some of the live ustream sc2 games, and cant stand them. However when there are commentators one of my fav hobbies is to watch the streams.

I'm just glad some of OUR players spend their off-time in the gym instead of sitting on a computer.

All kidding aside, it's interesting to see what other players do in their downtime. Having that connection with the fans is good. That's why I like Shaq's mini-videos. At least you know it's him behind the tweets.

Our arena, their arena, Rucker park, it just doesn't matter. We're bigger, longer, younger, faster, and hungrier.

No offense, but this seems pretty lame to me, although he is one guy in the league I could see doing this.

I was watching this yesterday on his stream. Fun stuff. Actually checked here to see if anyone had posted anything. Figured I was in a vast minority for crossover interests (Pacers - SC2)

Do they have this game for Mac? I used to play SC quite a bit back in highschool.
Never bothered with SC2 because SC1 was nothing but build up the biggest hoard of whatever you can and attack.

He's silver rank 8 (his name is like gdhayward or something), which is actually pretty good (not high level but for someone who obviously spends a lot of time doing other things its great). I want someone to post some of the stream on youtube because I never seem to know when he streams.

EDIT: friend of mine who saw the stream said this is his profile.

I was on the freshman basketball team when he led our varsity to the state title. One word - nerd.

Why would he be a nerd? Because he plays video games? Dude is 20 years old. Heck probably 99% of players in the league play video games on a regular basis.

I am sorry, but starcraft is different than COD or something. Cole said he went to HS with him and he was kind of a nerd.

What does Nerd even mean anymore. Socially Awkard? Book Worm? Dressing proper?

I dunno, I just find it hard to believe that some one who led their team to the state championship would be classified as a Nerd in the same sentence. It seems like a jealous jab or something.
