I love OKC. The whole thing. Humble stars, appreciative fans. Makes me reminisce over the MSA days; waiting over at Combs for the team to arrive; Slick driving by in his Cadillac! Bring back those days LB! That's why I think this coaching hire is so important for Bird to do his due diligence, and not just go with the feel good pick. This is potentially a defining moment for this franchsie. What that definition will be remains to be seen. There's just as much opportunity to screw this up as it is to nail it. At the end of the day, Larry has money, a clean slate with players and coaches, and a fan base that is starting to show a bit more interest. No problem at all with him taking his time to get it right, because I long for nights like this again.

I miss the best days in Indy.

It's definitely coming back as are those fans.

Definitely a bright light at the end of the tunnel and I'm excited for the excitement to be back in Indy and at the Fieldhouse which was pumped when it first opened.

Makes me really excited. We need to get a good team together. A blue collared team. One who will never quit or chicken out. That's the real Indiana way.
In 49 states it's just basketball, but this is Indiana!
