Need to get bigger at the point. Not smaller.

No truer words ever spoken. This is why Reggie Jackson and Darius Morris in this draft might be interesting prospects.

Dallas isn't going to let JJ Barea go, they have pretty deep pockets.

I must be in the minoritiy, but I would take him over AJ Price easily.

I would like his production over AJ but I am not sure about the locker room or the fact that he is owed 4.5 million next year. Defensively he is an upgrade over AJ and a better scorer as well.

I'd disagree, maybe at one point in his career he was. His court IQ/recognition is terrible, just horrible. I'm serious, watch him play, if he gets in against Dallas again. He can not play in a team concept at either end of the floor. He couldn't in Boston either. If he was the back up PG here, there would be 5 threads 2 weeks into the season for him to be benched/traded/ or just waived.

He could "look" good if Don Nelson got hired somewhere, again. Thats the extent of his ability now.

Thing about him is he has game, and is a high energy player, but I think a lot of people question his decision making.

It seems like where ever he goes he always find a way to ride the bench, there must be something these teams see that tells them that he is not worth putting into the games.

If you want to take a chance on him, might as well just grab Isaiah Thomas...about the same players skills wise, but I think Thomas has better decision making and is younger with room to improve.

I look at it as like this. What chucker would I rather have. Him or AJ. Personally I think AJ is a crappy backup pg and the role he is trying to fullfill on the pacers is as a scorer. Nate has atleast shown he can score in the league. Aj hasn't shown me much at all. His team defense is bad and his pg abilities have been left behind.

I would take Nates one on one defense over AJ's and I would take Nates ability to score over AJ's. I just would never want Nate for 4.5 million which is why I am fine with drafting a pg.

Nate did that on purpose so people would forget the whole "Speedbag" incident.

I don't want him here either, but he seems like a great teammate.
