I love how they use all of the Indiana references. They always talk or show something to do with the colts, now Detlef. Also last night their was a signed Larry Bird picture behind Amy Poehler's desk.
That and the Middle, Indiana is getting it's run on TV right now.

Somebody had to get Indiana on to TV, because the Pacers sure aren't getting it done. J/k of course. But seriously, no.

One Day at a Time and Hang Time were both based in Indiana as well.

I saw the show last season for Detlef I didn't know he was on last night.

I didn't find it funny when I did watch it the first time.

I love The Middle though but its more Colts centric than Pacers centric.

I have loved Indiana based TV shows over the years. Wikepedia has a list of most of them, but they are missing some. They don't even have One Day at a Time listed. By, the way this is getting way off Pacers talk, sorry.

Glory Daze on TBS is set in Indiana too. I really like it. It is about a group of guys in college in 1985. They don't call the college by a real name, but I'm guessing it is suppose to be IU. They've talked about going to Purdue and Indiana State, so it isn't based on either of them.

They do a great job with Indiana references. In fact, the license plates on the cars are the Wander Indiana plates.

It makes me sad that the Indianapolis from Parks and Rec has an Aquarium, but the real one does not

I DVR'd the show and was all set to watch it until I found out it got cancelled so I deleted all of it.

Trading Detlef for Derrick McKey was an unpopular move with fans, but was a very worthwhile offense for defense trade which helped the Pacers be competitive through the end of the 90s.

Honestly, I thought the old aquatic exhibit was better than what they have now.

    I believe it is fictional.

I enjoy the show and I thought he was food in both episodes, for the little time he was on.

If anyone gave up on Parks and Rec early on in it's run, give it another shot. It's probably the funniest show on TV now. Community and Archer are up there too, it's a toss up for me.
