For those interested, Farried is on NBA TV now on the Combine show.
Ash from Army of Darkness: Good...Bad...I'm the guy with the gun.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

PG was checking Derrick Rose 1 on 1 as a rookie. He can guard anybody on the perimeter. He's a 2 guard.
Right I saw that too I was not going to say anything. When granger and george were in together PG was playing SG Unless there is some new position I am not aware of was he playing Shooting Forward?

Some people might not have the best of memories, so let me refresh those.

The top ranked point guard in the 2010 recruiting class was not Kyrie Irving, and it wasn't Brandon Knight. It was Josh Selby. Not only was he the #1 ranked point guard, he was the #1 ranked player overall. The kid is super talented, but got suspended for 9 games for accepting $5,700 in benefits as a HS senior, and then suffered an unfortunate injury, which doesn't appear to be anything career altering, but ended up making him miss more time as a freshman.

Chad Ford is very high on Selby and says that the Knicks have been watching him for a while. He says that Selby is looking very good in workouts and whichever teams rolls the dice on him could have themselves a heck of a player.

I wouldn't be at all opposed to the Pacers drafting him. If there isn't a clearly better player available at 15, then I would take the risk.

he was a top 5 pg in the NBA when he signed the contract with the Clippers. Then seemingly overnight he just quit trying really a sad sight he has been stealing money from Sterling. Thats why they traded him Sterling couldnt stand his contract and his lack of effort.
One of the biggest Exhibits for the owners to make the case for more team options to get out from under such situations in the new CBA.

    Thanks!

Ok, this sounds horrible. I dont want beasley, he's lazy and does drugs, Rubio is overrated, and the only player id want from the draft is Derrick Williams who might be taken 1 by the Cavs. NO THANKS!
come on man it's 2011, we're still calling weed "drugs"?

This thread got hijacked, so maybe it can be put back on track. A name I heard mentioned last year was Kalin Lucas of Mich State. I didn't see his name in the mock, or didn't he enter the draft. If he did, is he any good?

Lucas isn't working out at the combine for some reason, but he is working out in Las Vegas and is entered for the draft. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't drafted, or if he is as a late 2nd round pick. He was one of the bigger PG names before he ruptured his achilles tendon. He turns 22 in 4 days so he's a little on the "old" side for a draft prospect, so most analysts think he's pretty much tapped out in terms of potential.

Unfair comment on Beasley. Granted the dude has his problems but once you get that spot light on you from the league I'm sure they make suer he gets tested regularly. If there had been any issues he would have been setting.

Sometimes guys learn from their mistakes, Beasley might be that guy.
Problem is, you can't learn to not be really, really dumb. We're talking about a guy who tweeted a photo of himself showing off a new tattoo with a dime bag lying on the floor behind him...

Think TJ ford with the potential to be better at shooting and the best case scenario to me.

We have bigger needs but I would consider drafting him in the second round.

This trade is for Dwill for sure not Beasely. Both are extremely talented but Dwill is probably less of an off court issue than Beasely. Could you imagine Beasely at sf, Dwill at pf and Paul George at sg. Thats a pretty good lineup in a year or 2.

Dwill is a SF. And he wants to play SF. He would not be happy playing PF and I don't think he would be as good there.

Fine move Beasely to PF. Guys say a lot of things I wouldn't be upset if he played either or as long as he plays hard. By the way he said he "sees himself as sf who can play some pf". Thats not saying I am only a sf or pf.

Riley tried playing Beas at PF early in his career and found out it didn't work, and switched him to SF. He's like Granger who can play PF in certain situations, but not a PF per se.

He's much more of a PF than Granger imo.

    Here is the quote:

Im not a power forward. I want to clear that up, said Williams, who was listed by Arizona at 6-foot-8 and 241 pounds. Im a small forward that can play the four.
I'm sorry if I don't want a the guy I am drafting to be the franchise player playing out of position, when even he sees himself as a SF. Yes he can play some PF. So can Danny Granger. But does that mean its a good idea to play him at PF? Not really.

Same goes for Beasley. Sure he can play PF better than Granger, but that doesn't mean he should play PF.

I don't want a tweener playing as my starting PF. Its just a bad idea. I want a legit PF at the PF spot. We need a guy that can defend, block shots and rebound at the PF spot to put next to Hibbert. Williams and Beasley aren't that guy.

Yep he can play PF, Minny moved him to the 3 because of Love.

edit: He is also bigger than Danny.
