    Default All NBA 1st Team

All-NBA First Team: Derrick Rose, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, Kevin Durant.

All-NBA Second Team: Dwyane Wade, Russell Westbrook, Pau Gasol, Dirk Nowitzki, Amar'e Stoudemire.

All-NBA Third Team: Manu Ginobili, Chris Paul, LaMarcus Aldridge, Zach Randolph, Al Horford

Only one I really disagree with is Kobe over Wade which is a travesty. Wade is clearly better than Kobe, and to too give Kobe 1st team honors just because of seniority is everything casual fans hate about the NBA.

Kobe over Wade feels like legacy voting.

Kinda feel like Chris Paul should be second team, maybe bumping Westbrook to third. Westbrook is great, but he is not the player Paul is.

Westbrook is on a playoff team though, and that is important when choosing a point guard for these teams.

You could be right, but remember it's a regular season award. Chris didn't have the best season.... Westbrook definitely killed it.

Don't let Paul's playoffs trick you into thinking he had a better season than he did.

Zach belongs on the second team and Pau in 3rd. Wade on the 1st instead of Kobe. Carmelo should be there instead of Al Horford.

Despite what these guys did off the court this year / this summer / in the past, they've been better players. And that's all that matters.

Rose, Wade, James, Durant, and Howard could be the 1st team for the next 10 years.

You are right, CP3 didn't have his best season. But still, he was amazing. Better shooting, better passing, more steals, twice less turnovers. 6th on PER. Carried his crappy team into playoffs despite being a pass-first point guard on a team without consistent scorers. Put him on OKC this year next to Durant, they are better.

To me it would be a hard decision, but I'd put CP3 on 2nd team.

    Wow, Horford?
I'd rather give Aldridge the C spot and put Melo in

I would be surprised if Wade is still playing past his current contract.

I think they hit the nail on the head. Kobe versus Wade is a push. It is splitting hairs between some of these guys. Horford definitely deserves to be on there over Carmelo. No question.

I am glad to see Aldridge get a nod. He was probably the best PF in the league this year IMO. I would love to see the Hawks get Horford a Center worth a damn. Horford haad a great year all around. Carmelo just stood around and scored. He played little defense and stopped all ball movement for both Denver and New York.

What's effed up is I believe the first three could have ALL been Bulls if Wade and James wanted to go that route. Can you imagine?

Kobe and Wade each averaged 25 PPG.

You can say that Wade deserved to be on it, but it's hardly a "travesty" that Kobe made it. Him and Wade virtually had identical seasons.

While I get your intent, Wade will be approaching 40 at the end. I doubt he'll even still be in the league.

Rose wouldn't have liked it, he likes the ball in his hands too much, shoot first point guard rather than creator.

So three teams have six of the top ten players.

NBA: Oops, sorry, we'll fix that ... new CBA ... some words in the right ears ... there, now three teams have all of the top 10 players. All better!

And CP3 was a leader of a playoff team who played better than many people though they could. He is a great leader and one of the best pgs in the game.

Loul Deng could have been traded for an upgrade at the four also scary. If they really wanted to win 10 championships thats where they should have went.

Wade and Kobe can be swapped either way because they had an identical season. Aldridge should be there at 2nd team instead of Pau, and Manu or CP3 should be at 2nd team instead of Westbrook, IMO.

CP3 is also on a playoff team, although already eliminated. CP3 looked better at the playoffs and just played better than Kobe for the most part, while Westbrook looks like a bad PG as the playoffs progress.
