Spent a few hours mastering drum tracks last night. First song is about 60% done...

    Just keeping this updated.

    Demo Update*

We were re-tracking some vocals for the verses and pre-chorus's last night. I blew my voice out due to struggling with a few lines of the song. Unfortunately, we will be inactive for 3-4 days while my voice recovers.

Most likely we will concentrate on mastering what is left other than the vocals. The first track to the demo should be up within 5-7 days on our facebook page.

    Thanks,
    Constellations

Completely free of course. I'll post the link with the mp3 when we launch it!

    Thanks,

Disturbed: 'The demise of metal and hard rock forced us to go on hiatus' Chicago band deny there's any animosity behind indefinite break

Earlier this week, the Chicago band cited "internal issues" when they announced plans for an extended break at the end of their current US tour.

However, frontman David Draiman has now said there is not "any animosity" in the band - and instead voiced concerns about the "state of the music industry".

He told Billboard.com:The industry is still in a state of reformation; it is on the verge of collapse, in my opinion. It's a frightening time, and I think after 10 to 12 years straight of touring it's just a good time for Disturbed to go away for a while and wait for the phoenix to rise from the ashes

Draiman also insisted that the band are still good friends and that the break isn't down to "bad blood." He added: "We just had dinner together last night."

Disturbed released their fifth studio album, 'Asylum', in 2010. They hinted at plans to take a break in an interview with NME at Download Festival last month - scroll down and click below to see a clip of the chat.
I knew it was going to happen, but it hurts to see that it is finally official. Disturbed has always been my favorite band, and was the first band to get me into hard rock/metal. Another tough loss to the already slim hard rock genre. Hopefully this hiatus is for the best. Can't wait to see them rock at Mayhem!

He keeps telling everyone it is because of the decline of hard rock and metal, which I understand, but I don't think he understands that losing Disturbed will hurt even more. I can only think of 2 hard rock/metal bands to make #1, which would be Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold. Now it looks like were down to 1 band left. I have faith in Dave though and I think they will be back better than ever sometime in the future.

They were alright. The concert overall wasn't worth 40 bucks at all. Godsmack was amazing, but Disturbed put on the worst performance I have seen from them yet. Seems like they already checked out.

Yeah! Your cousin wouldn't have been wearing a JO jersey and Pacers shorts would he?

Honestly, I thought Megadeth sounded like a bar band compared to Godsmack, and even Disturbed. Godsmack was hands down the best performance of the night. Maybe I'm a little biased (Metallica/Anthrax fanboy), but I really didn't care for Megadeth at all.

I haven't heard anyone mention Machine Head yet. I thought they were really good.

Machine Head was pretty good. I haven't listened to much of their material so I can't really judge. I have been wanting to see Godsmack for years, and it was well worth the wait.

Sorry, haven't been keeping with this thread lately. I've always loved Dream Theater. But I'm not a follower. I'll keep an eye out though.

Notice the Pacer hat on top of the chip box? Zac is the man with the eye of the tiger and I'm the one in the Gears of War shirt...

Anybody listen to Sevendust? I have been getting back into them lately, and I'm pretty stoked to see them at X-Fest.

Happy birthday to one of the greatest musicians of all-time, Dimebag Darrell. He would have been 45 today. You were taken from us too soon. RIP buddy.
