Brandon Rush or Dahntay Jones
Pacers 2011 2nd or 2012 2nd
Pacers get a good scorer in DeRozan, and don't give up much for him. For the Raptors, they would likely take Rush, the younger of the two. Rush would give them about the same production as DeRozan, but they would get a 2nd rounder and free up about 400K in cap space. Not a huge trade for either team by any means, but it seems like a step in the right direction for Indiana. Also, DeRozan is a more inside style shooter/dunker, which fits into our system of more points in the paint from Psycho T, McBob, and Roy. The only consistent outside shooter we have is Danny, and Rush hasn't ever been much better than a decent scorer, but DeRozan can consistently score midrange to inside. Thoughts?
PS: This is my first thread and I'm new here. I'm Jason, and I'm from Greenfield. I am a freshman at Greenfield-Central. God bless, and GO PACERS!
How would you guys feel about trading Danny for Derozan and Barbosa? That would give us a guy in Derozan that can create off the dribble and it allows PG24 to slide over to the 3, where I think he's best suited. Any thoughts?
