    76ers Get

    Brandon Rush
    1st round pick

Philly has been shopping Iggy. Last year & beginning of this year. He is probably available now as well, because:
    a) He didn't show up to a meeting with team officials
    b) After losing to Miami, Iguodala responded to a question about whether he expected to be back with the Sixers by saying, I expect to be back in the NBA. Its always been a dream of mine to play ball. This has been a great ride so far, not just with the Sixers, but playing basketball in general."

    What you guys think?

    I say no too.
In 49 states it's just basketball, but this is Indiana!

Philly indeed would say no. I like Tyler just as much as the next person, but for people to not want to trade because you love him so much, and to receive Iggy in return is a steal. The production between the two is night and day.

When you trade for a guy like Iggy you don't give equal value. You give cap relief, young players, and a pick. Look at the Gerald Wallace trade for example, no equal value was given. I believe Philly agrees.
The thing about Philly is that they're overall in the same status as us, but we have lots & lots of cap space so we can still add more pieces, While in their case they might not even be able to resign some of their players (like Young) For that reason I believe they might take this.

I agree yoadknux. It only took 2 first round picks to pry Gerald away, and Iggy has just come off of a horrible post season. I think he is tradeable.

I'd take it before my lips could say it.

Iguodala's awesome, and I'd take him easily if the deal were in our favor, but he's not the elite shot creator that we need if we're going with Granger as our permanent SF.
