With the recent issues between Westbrook and Oklahoma City, do you think the Pacers would George for Westbrook? Would the Thunder accept the trade? Maybe George and Collison for Harden and Westbrook?

    Westbrook
    Harden
    Granger
    Hansbrough
    Hibbert

no the thunder would never accept that trade for just Westbrook let alone Harden.

they might move Westbrook to the SG though but i doubt it.

I think at this point the Thunder do a little chuckle and hang up the phone.

Westbook and Durant are both 22. They have some issues now, but they won't in three years.

Maybe if we gave them DC and Granger a few draft picks for just westbrook. In that case, id take it.

OKC is stocked at the 2 spot and obviously don't need a 3. I think they would really like to keep Westbrook as their future core with Durant and Perkins and build around those 3.

Westbrook would address some defensive needs for a bigger PG, but I'm pretty excited about our backcourt going forward of DC and PG. What we'd gain in getting Westbrook we'd be giving up at the 2 spot.

This brings up a point I've been thinking a lot about lately: the NBA is a wing/ball-handler's league, where having a guy to create shots and draw fouls and get to the FT line will be more valuable than having very good bigs. I consider this when I think about Roy and trade possibilities, though I love him as a player and as a person.

All OKC needs is time to mature. They don't need to do very much of anything, and certainly not a move of this magnitude, messing with their core. I think Ray Allen would be a nice addition to that squad.
