They'll do this because they're clearly the better team and because, like the rest of us, they know that it's time for Indy to get back to auto racing.
This statement made me laugh. You can tell that Chicago is very scared. Not only of us, but whoever they could potentially face next round.

They are calling us dirty because that is the only way they can explain us outplaying them.

Chicago can say whatever they want to help them sleep at night, but we have exposed the Bulls for the weak, pathetic team they really are.

It's nice as a fan of the Colts also, who regularly have incredible regular seasons only to get out-physicaled in the playoffs, to be on the other end of it.

I wonder if that blogger just started watching the NBA in the past 3 or 4 seasons. He must have, because no way he would have that opinion if he had watched the Bulls play the Pistons back in the early 90's, or the Bulls play the Knicks in the mid 90's, or the Pacers play the Knicks in the mid to late 90's, or the Knicks play the Heat in the late 90's or the Pacers play the Pistons back in 2004.

Those series back then were physical - this current series isn't

Game 2 of the LAL-NOH was more phsyical than any game this series.

The league is just getting soft as a whole, and it's sad.

This Pacers vs Bulls series isn't physical at all in the overall scheme of things. Hard fought? yes. Competitive? yes

Imagine what the reaction of the Bulls fans will be if they face the Green Menace of the Celtics and their style of play that is physical on a year round basis? Talk about a buzz kill for them...poor Bulls fans

It's a different level than any other team in this league. I'm not exaggerating.
Every player is playing hard for all teams, but this one has taken it to a different level.

edit: Unclebuck, I don't think so. I think they'll just wait until the summer, and possibly interview other people, but Vogel's got a huge chance.

I would guess Larry wants to come back. He's clearly done a very good job.
I am impressed that they came to play every-game, even after the Officials stole games 1 and 2(in my opinion). They have never given up the fight and have faired slightly better each game. Although young, they have been the far more mature team on the court (less crying and cursing). They seem to play with the attitude that we will try and beat them 5-8 if we have to. I have been impressed with Vogels team, however I don't think the Bulls are slacking one bit.

edit: If Larry wants to come back, he should be back. I have been saying this all season.

As I said the other day I'll go with what Bird & co. say is best, but I have no idea & I mean no idea of a single coach out there that I think would be better for this particular group of players.

That includes some of the top names that are available.

I agree except, I think if Vogel doesn't get the job, all of PD should show up in front of Larry's office with torches and pitchforks... but thats just my opinion lol

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

Nothing against Vogel but if you can give it your all in the playoffs you shouldn't be in the league.
I see this and raise you Vince Carter's career.

His teams may have been better off without him then. I just figure if you can't get motivated to play in the playoffs then your team would more than likely wouled like to get rid of you. The vast majority of players are going to give it there all at least until they feel beeten. I won't argue against the existence of Vince Carter:-)
