Blair White builds chemistry with Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning during NFL work stoppage
SAGINAW TWP. - Former Nouvel Catholic Central star Blair White is not about to let the current NFL work stoppage to get in his way.
The Indianapolis Colts receiver has spent the off-season working out with quarterback Peyton Manning, lifting weights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Skill work is on Tuesdays and Thursday.
During the lockout, the players were not allowed to talk to coaches and were not allowed at the Indianapolis practice facility.
Even after a district judge ruled to end the NFL lockout Monday, there is still uncertainty as the owners announced that they will appeal the ruling.
That leaves players such as White in limbo. As an undrafted free agent last season, White received an opportunity with the Colts when Austin Collie and Anthony Gonzalez were hurt.
White caught 36 passes for 355 yards and five touchdowns.
"There's no time to sit at home," White said in a Lansing State Journal story. "While you sit at home, someone else out there is getting better."
