I agree completely. We never had a rivalry with the Bulls. Because I am sure the Bulls didn't think we were in their top 5 or 6 in that category.

I will say though that what we had with the Pistons although very short term was something a little different because of the brawl - is it a rivalry, maybe not but it was something
Agree with everything you said. The Pacers and Knicks will always be rivals because of the many times they eliminated the Pacers from the playoffs, the many times the Pacers eliminated them, John Starks headbutting Reggie, and Reggie traumatizing the Garden crowd.

The Pistons are rivals because Pacers fans despise the Pistons and because of the brawl. I'll always want the Pistons to lose and no loss bothers me more than when the Pacers lose to the Pistons.

Larry is not coming back, he didn't have a meeting with Orlando for not reason, yeah he is coming back to the NBA but not to the Pacers, the notion that he is a taking a year off and then come back is absurd.

I don't think there's ever really a rivalry until each side has drawn some blood.

did the knicks ever beat the bulls when MJ played.. only team too ever beat them was the Thomas pistons.

i guess the knicks and bulls were not rivals since the knicks nvr won.. except when MJ retired.

maybe it is not on the level as a rivalry like Purdue/IU, but Pacers and Bulls are in the same division, along with proximity between two cities, and the overall success with the two franchises, typically leads to some sort of rivalry in sports.

one valid point i feel like that has been made here is the Bulls and Pacers have not met in the playoffs multiple times.

i always considered the bulls a rival due to the reasons listed above. the series in 98 was quite possibly the best all time imo, easily top 3.

how many teams took Jordans bulls to 7 during their reign?

its okay if you think that, you are allowed to your own opinion. its just that most of the rest of us don't agree. and you probably won't change our minds.

I will have to say the Bulls and Pacers were never really rivals, team wise. But Reggie and Michael had it out for each other pretty bad.
