The Mavs blew a 23-point lead (18 in the 14th quarter) en route to an 84-82 loss to the Blazers.

At least the Mavs were on the road .... not many people win in Portland for some reason.

You can probably attribute a lot of that too there fans not selling there tickets to opposing fans... and packing the house, which makes one of the best atmospheres in the league

Portland is 2,000 miles from Dallas. Indianapolis is 185 miles from Chicago.

    Ding ding ding.

Geography played a HUGE part in the number of Bulls fans at Conseco today.

It would have been no different in Milwaukee, Minnesota, or Detroit.

Did you expect anything more from the Mavs?

I mean this is the team that had 67 wins in 2007 and still managed to lose to the Golden State Warriors. They are used to the letdown.

People keep saying Chicago, but most of their fans are probably from Illinois. My point being some Bulls fans living in Illinois probably only had to drive a little over 80 miles. That's how far it is from Indy to Illinois.

Of course from what I've read some of the CFH workers are Bull's fans. I haven't been in Indy for years so I don't know how close any apartments are, but some CFH workers probably live within walking distance.

ya i know, i was just messing around.

the worst part about these "bulls" fans, is that they are really derrick rose fans. thats the way the nba is, everyone just jumps from superstar to superstar and which ever team has the hot hand. i bet a lot of the fans there at conseco were from indianapolis and pledged their allegiance to the bulls after derrick rose became a so called "superstar".

Personally I think derrick rose has a ways to go before he can be considered among the likes of Lebron and Kobe. His jumpshot is way too inconsistent, PG is showing what happens when you throw length and athleticism on him. After game 1 his numbers have been mediocre at best, he just keeps getting to the free throw line. But today showed that if we are discipline enough to not foul and contest his drives that he can be ineffective.
