Addai is certainly not a powerback which is what I think you are describing. He does however gets guys to miss and breaks arm tackles a lot. He just can't lower the boom on someone and drive them back. Injuries IMo are creeping up on Addai but I would much rather have him than a power back who is slow. Essentially we that with Javarris James anyway and power backs are a lot easier to get in the latter rounds. I wouldn't be mad if we traded up in the second round to get Leshoure though. He would be a big upgrade from Brown.
Not power backs but those who are shifty and know how to get up field... I say with addai it seems that he only breaks arm tackles 15-20% of the time, just what I notice when I watch the games, and Leshoure may fall to us in the second.

Also I am not sure what happened to donald brown... I think he has potential to be good but man I think he has lost his confidence and runs too ordered.

It seems like he lost his vision and can't find open holes, not sure if he will correct that this season or not..

Well, it's draft day and I have no idea where the Colts are headed for this pick. If I could lay out my preferences, it would be as follows:

    1. Gabe Carimi
    2. Anthony Castonzo
    3. Corey Liuget
    4. Derek Sherrod
    5. Nate Solder

Honestly, I think Carimi is the best available. I personally believe he can play the left side, and if not he can move to the right side and still be successful. Regardless of which side, the guy is absolutely dominant and Polian loves his Big 10 ( or 11, or 12, or 13, or 14 or whatever they are...) players.
Stop quoting people I have on ignore!

The Colts always take the best player available . Considering they were beat up all year at defensive back, I think Jimmy Smith will be the pick here.

    My would be:
    1. Gabe Carimi
    2. Castonzo
    3. Solder
    4. Trade down an pick Sherrod in the first round

    Second round preference:
    1. Leshoure
    2. Jarvis Jenkins

Latter round picks I wouldn't mind:
    Delone Carter RB
    DaRel Scott Maryland RB
    James Brewer OT IU

    Undrafted FA's
Scooter Berry DT - He has to be tough if he lived with that name.

    Go Colts.

I hate the way Solder plays he dances instead of being physical. That isnt good if you are a oline man. I am hearing that the Titians might take Andy Dalton at 8 which is

I was thinking of that possibility... the only thing is he is more of a man corner and we play more of a Zone scheme, and typically get corners in later rounds for that but that would be an interesting pick...

Didn't Jenks just get in trouble the other night for something, cant remember.

Also undrafted FA's I would like to look at PU wideout Keith Smith, not sure if he will make the team or not but he has potential, if it wasn't for his injury this season I think he might have gotten drafted in the late rounds.

I think you are thinking of Janoris Jenkins from the Gators.

I think Polain will pass on a corner because we drafted Kevin Thomas last year. As far as I know he is healthy again and should compete for a spot this year.

Well it's begining to look like you guys will be happy according to some of the current mock drafts. A number believe the Colts will be picking Carimi because Solder will be picked a little earlier.

You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

Of course I didn't expect the Pats to take Nate Solder. Hmm

Colts will get Carimi or Castonzo if the Giants and Chiefs don't go that route
