Well, bummed about the loss yesterday. That obviously is more important.

But as a Pacers die-hard living in Los Angeles, let me tell you...

I am pretty damn happy right now about the outcome of that game! HAH!

I am happy with ANYONE but the Lakers winning this year. Preferably not Miami, but even that would be better than the Lakers.

The Lakers won't be able to deal with OKC if they meet, the look old.

Agreed. If they get past N.O. they are in for trouble.

Personally my hope is that when the Lakers get knocked out of the playoffs this year, they do it in the most explosive, chemistry destroying way possible while burning as many bridges as they humanly can between them and their fan base (Kobe is well on his way).

If I could make the perfect point guard it would be Chris Paul. He is incredible.

How about we just save our money for summer 2012 and offer CP3 the max?
I don't really think there is anyone this summer that we should be throwing a lot of money at but CP3 in 2012 would be perfect. He could take over in crunch time when we are in tight games.

0% chance CP3 wants to be a Pacer

Haha no way it would happen, but CP3 and Collison would be reunited, and I'm not sure there would be a better 1-2 punch at PG in the NBA.

I could think of more than a couple million why he would want to be a Pacer

What? Are not the Bulls the top seed in the eastern conference?

The fans were booing the Lakers at the end of the game. Wow.

Anyone else think Chris Paul is tired of being named as the 4th or 5th best point guard in the NBA now by most of the "experts"?

I don't think he really cares. The disparity between Rose, D-will, CP3, Westbrook, and Rondo isn't big at all even if their games are totally different.

If one of them has a good stretch, anyone can argue they are the best PG in the league.

Except that Rondo isn't nearly as good as the 4 other guys you named.

True, but I thought I might offend people if I didn't mention him at least.

He is closer to Rose than most people realize. Having him discussed with Rondo and Westbrook is beyond me.

I don't know. Westbrook is pretty freaking amazing in my book.

Rondo is so far behind those other 4 it's not even funny. He is a great passed, but I think his assist numbers might drop off by 3-4 per game if he was not on the Celtics, you add in the fact that you can't trust him at the end of games...at all...and it becomes pretty cut and dry that act best he's a distant 5th best PG in the NBA.

It is facinating watching the difference between players like Westbrook and Rose and comparing them to a player like Chris Paul. All three are extremely effective but Paul goes about it in a different way. Paul is like a surgeon carefully carving the defense into little pieces. Rose and Westbrook are like bulldozers destroying everything in their path

To me Chris Paul is the best player to watch in the NBA when he's playing at the peak of his powers. He's a virtuoso with the ball in his hands. The game is his orchestra.

He would have made a heck of an attacking midfielder in soccer.

Westbrook and Rose remind me of a hybrid Clyde Drexler/Allen Iverson. Quick dribbling, fast gears of AI, but the unrelenting attack of Clyde.

Maybe a better version of Kevin Johnson.

CP3 is the best passer right now in the NBA. Nash-level or Kidd-level type of passer. He sees his teammates for great scoring opportunities even if he's not attracting help defense from opponents.

Rose and Westbrook becomes effective passers because they attract defense and leaves 1 or 2 open teammates.

The Hornets really had the PG advantage last night.

Jarrett Jack had a great game.
